I would give him next season if he shows something else rather than this rigid system of one directional football.
The WC this summer will most likely end very soon for us.

If Pep sees out his contract extension and continues with possession as his priority and we continue with the slow passing it's going to be a hard slog for the fans even with success. Everything has become stale and tiring. As you say we need to see something else.

IFs , buts..... Let us just see how next season pans out. People worry too much about nothing. . After peps first season there were many doubters and look what happened .

On thing is for sure, smaller clubs are getting more cash and getting good players making it difficult. Good for the competition.

Read somewhere we have lost 15 of our last 30 games.

And before that it took us 169 games to lose 15 times

We've been found out. Football has evolved. Managers have worked out how to beat the system. And we are not evolving to deal with it

Is Pep a manager who can change? I'm not convinced he is

Allegedly back in Barcelona to try and save his marriage right after that shit show yesterday.

This is the problem for me.

Today they should all have been on the training ground, and forced to watch that pass pass pass shit on loop for a few hours.

Instead because Pep Head is obviously not in the right place they will likely get another 2,3 day bender, right on the back of 10 days off for most of them before yesterday game.

On Saturday we will joke they look like they only just met up to play with each other. We look unfit and not coached properly.

Pep should be given 3 months off for the good of him and the Club.

PeP has allowed his personal problems to fuck up our season - he has been in no fit state for months now and it shows...week after week.

Pff, we really are in pickle jar.
What the fuck do we do? Throw him under the bus because he is going through a separation that is affecting his performance?
He is our best ever manager. No one can take that away from him.
You sack him and everyone will turn on you, including him. Big bad Man City who didn't stay behind the manager who gave them all the glory.

The only hope and scenario that I have is he will turn back mad next season, fumming of what happenend and hungry, we will win the league again and then he will leave, which is the best thing possible, for me.

But what a fucking situation to be in.

To be fair, as much as think it could have some part in our drop in form, I wish Pep all the best in sorting out his marriage problems, whether he separates or patches things up. No easy situation. I'm still married after 38 years but my son is divorcing after 4 years. Been quite hard for him, but he is married to a Brazilian, who is as mad as box of frogs and very temperamental.

I bet she’d be better than Savio’s been all season, though.

We're not a charity shop. It's business at end of the day and Pep is an employee. Harsh as it may sound, if Pep is unfit due to his personal circumstances, pay him off and and end it amicably without needing to sack him. I really want to believe he can turn it around next season, however he will need to change for it to work.

I agree, but I am putting myself into Khaldoon's shoes. It's a terrible decision and it is impossible not to be sentimental about it.

It really is difficult. But, everyone comes to an end in any career, job, whatever. Arsenal let Wenger stick around for far too long. City can't make that mistake. Pep is light years ahead of Wenger, no doubt, but his powers look massively diminished right now. Can he change and bring a new style to our play? If yes, great. If no, problems.

Just a reminder.

Pep Guardiola says he will never change his tactical philosophy and we have seen enough evidence of that week in and week out ( Gundo and Walker undroppable till the very end)

He wont change his ways even though other teams have sussed him out..we get to see this every other fuckign game.

53 and lots to give. We can’t win every year, I’ve been home and away. This has been a season like Peps doing his nut in. He’s a winner and we are built for winning. I trust the club. I said earlier in the season we’re done. I predicted a very difficult FA cup game and possibly defeat. This season is what it is for a number of reasons. My take is we need more from them if we are to get past Bournemouth or get 4th. I’m judging it in May.

I was in favour of Pep going earlier and despite a slight upturn in results the performances have stayed at a dire level. Pep is too stubborn to change what he is doing, we are still being too meek in possession with pointless sideways passing and very few chances created. The constant playing of players in the wrong positions is frustrating, Gvardiol is a ball playing central defender not a full back, we have no right or left back to speak of in the squad. The wingers are playing on the wrong sides and have to turn back to play the ball through by which time the pass can be cut out so we go backwards. Foden is being played everywhere but has no consistency this season due possibly to this constant tinkering. Saturday was absolutely dreadful to watch but Pep comes out with this dross about the performance being good again. Pep has been fantastic for the club but his stubbornness and arrogance are costing us now and will continue to do so in the future. Get Alonso in and let's play aggressive, attacking football again.

"Unfortunately, results this season have so far not reached this high standard,” MCFC have said.

The ladies are 4th in the table with an average of 2 points per game, compared with the men's 1.6.
