I have a feeling getting someone in the middle to replace Rodri will be a key factor for us in having a chance at the UCL again this season.
I can't see us winning it without that.

perhaps we should not have started Rodri against the Arse or Brentford, never change a winning team.

Better not misbehave in Saudi. They tend to chop things off!

Pace is definitely dropping off, much to the joy of commentators. Trouble is he's still quicker and bigger than Rico.

Walker is starting to drop off now in terms of pace and consistency, but I think it's a bit snidey the big pile on. He's been a vital part of the most successful period in our history and should be appreciated as such.

He does himself no favours with what happens off the pitch but in terms of his football ability and legacy he's got a genuine case as being the best right back in the premier league era.

He’s taller than Rico. Not as strong as Rico. Not as intelligent as Rico. Not as good on the ball as Rico. Can’t move into midfield the way Pep wants like Rico.

All very true

But if we can get £15M for a 34 year old full back with a year left on his contract then that would be fantastic business

Of course not. My point is, Pep likes 4 CB size players, or 3, at the back, really.

I didn't disagree that it's time for us to move on.
