Terrible decision from the club to partner with a company like this. Profiteering is the only explanation. Earlier on this year I couldn't attend the Chelsea game because of illness and was unable to pass the ticket on to anyone else, even for free. Now the club is allowing me to sell on a ticket so a 3rd party can make a profit on it. The game is gone and any attempt to try and claim otherwise is futile.

Says from existing hospitality stock..... I bet that 'stock' is increased next season by closing down or restricting even more of the regular seats

So from next season will season ticket holders still be able to transfer their tickets to mates if they can’t go?

Yes, not heard to the contrary. There will still be the 14 game criteria in place where SC holders must attend in person or have transferred their tkt or listed it. Waiting on hearing about the Skybar at back of North Stand Level 2. If prices are not silly, going to look at moving there.

I often cannot go and I list it on the seat exchange to get my money back. I discovered a couple of weeks back from the woman I sit next to that the person who bought my usual seat (which costs be about £50 a game) paid over £300 for the ticket. I had assumed that it just went back into the open market pot but was a bit out out that they had sold it for so much.

So did you get that £300 or the club?

It was possibly more than £300 and no, I only got 1/19 of the price of my ST back. No doubt if I knew where to look I could watch the highlights from the YouTube channel of whoever it was that bought the ticket.

Correct. Chelsea 11/12 was the first time I saw it first hand. Sad but we're big business. I want a tkt for the swamp so may take a look myself

A bit of Jethro Tull for you all wouldn't be too bad either.

What on earth do you all expect,? Back to an old Maine Rd Scoreboard end getting pissed on because you didn't take an umbrella with you?

The club has become very, very successful through great management. Stadium expansion and hotel makes for an enjoyable experience. If Roy Castle still did the record breakers program for kids to watch , city would be on it almost all the time.

Have a beer under the stands at Coms in comfort and compare that to the fire trap that the swamp is .

Extra seats to be sold next season. Let us see if they are given to season ticket holders.

My understanding of the extra seats is that they are non season ticket ? IF that was the case, I could see that new tier being totally day trippers

That’s what I’ve heard. More seats but none being made available for season tickets.

I'm sure that's what they want. The place has been tourist central for the last few years, The half and half scarves outnumber the City scarves.

It was always going to happen though, City probably have a hardcore of 30-35k matchgoing fans, which leaves 15 to 20k seats to fill. Take away 5k for a full away end, there's still 10-15k. With the club making silly money from these seats, it's not surprising what they're doing.
We all used to call the swamp the Theatre of Tourists (amongst other things). The truth is any top level consistently successful football club automatically becomes a tourist destination.
We're victims of our own (or the club's) success.
