When Divine Mukasa breaks into the first team set up, it won’t matter who our manager is, this young and brilliant player is nailed on to be a world star. All we have to do is keep him.

We do

But Pep will play Nunes.

Because he’s either making a protest of some kind or he’s just stubborn/stupid

Akanji isn’t fit. Rico hasnt got the physique. We haven’t got a full back at the moment. Nunes did ok las Sunday with Bernardo providing cover. It’s hardly a perfect situation but we are where we are. Of course we have to buy one in the Summer.

Rico was great at the start of the season, all before Pep forced Walker in.

And chances are he'll play at right back

I saw Rico being targeted with high balls. He found it hard to cope. He’s really a midfielder. Pep hung on to Walker for too long. We should have bought someone last summer.

I think Inzaghi would be an interesting choice.

They are playing some decent football, cynical at times, something we are missing.
But, the thing is, he his teams score a shit loads of goals

I just don't think his 3-5-2 can work in England.

I’d have a look at Emery when Pep leaves.

It is no longer a Spafia thing.

No doubt at all that the Spafia know the inner workings at UEFA / FIFA for processing Champions League, contacts with Agents etc. However the owners , investing heavily in City ( ground expansion , hotel , Co-op Concet arena etc) are probably aware that times are changing.

Manchester has changed drastically and incredibly in the last ten years. Just look at the developments in and around the City centre.

I think Pep knows this too. Everyone calls him a stubborn git, he certainly is, but i think his pride is such that (and that he knows that), however great the last eight years have been...he knows the press / media don't give City or him any respect for the fantastic achievements and he wants to prove everybody wrong again.

So i think his stubborness means he wants to rebuild and prove them all wrong. He is , after all City through and through.

I meant wasn't Enrique coaching at Barcelona whilst Txixi was there?

He may be City through and through but his performance since the loss of Rodders has been ahocking. No idea how to set us up outside of his possession based approach. Injuries have played a big part but even then, he's not moved. He may want to prove everyone wrong, but I'm not in favour of us giving him a war chest only to see him play cbs as fullbacks. Ultimately , I trust the owner and board. My gut says they will stick with him and give him next season but it could be as painful a watch as this season.

Enrique has rebuilt PSG, average age 24. No galacticos. That is impressive. The lad from Napoli I said I cannot understand how we did not get him.

They will certainly give him the start of next season. If were still as bad as we are now in October then there is a big decision to be made. A lot depends upon whether or not we qualify for the CL this season. If we do it will buy him more time for 25/26 if not, it probably wont.
