We extended his leave period after we bought him. Pep hasnt considered him since he arrived. Talk of a loan move is taking the piss - out of us fans . Surely this is just twitter bollocks. We need this lad to start for us asap
Why?
Pep and the coaches have seen him up close.
You've seen a YouTube video and yet you demand he starts?
If the coaching staff don't think he's ready then surely it's better he gets some game time elsewhere.
My only reservation is Lazio are a very strong side and you'd think he'll struggle to get in their side too, if we deem him not ready for the PL.
He's old enough, talented enough, he has enrgy and skill and has experience at senior level and U23 Argentina international. Cant do any worse. Besides our coaches have been utter shite this season. Cant defend , close a game out, shite at corners, free kicks etc our tactics are poor. We seem to train them at 11 man rondo and have no plan when we lose the ball

More stories about the club 'assessing ' Echeverri's future in the summer. With Lazio and Girona now mentioned. Seems we are being softened up. Wonder if KDB extension talks are getting involved in his future? .
We would be mad to let him out on loan, we would be mad to put our faith in Kev for one last hurrah, in front of trying our new blood. We all accept a rebuild rethink is necessary. It wont be successful with the same old guard, same tactics

If true, no young player should come to us. Absolutely no point until Pep leaves.

Get rid of Kev, Bernardo, Gundo and it's a fairly young squad.
Gvardiol, Savinho, Khusanov all 21 and under when signed and all played regularly immediately

Correct. 3 examples out of the years Pep has been here isn’t great though. Savio is crap and Khus is clearly a Viana signing.

I don’t agree on Sav and there's other examples Alvarez, Jesus, Sane to name a few more

Put it this way, if a young player had the chance to come to us or go to Arsenal where do you think they’d go for playing time?

Where are they most likely to win things?
Agree on the playing time. Guess it depends on the player and also his agent on the best destination

That wasn’t the question. They could do a Kalvin Phillips and win everything there is to win - no one is questioning that.
Where will they more likely to actually get a chance to play? Palmer, Rogers are two perfect recent examples. McAtee will be too when he leaves in the summer.

Agreed for the most part, Pep rarely gives opportunities to any youngster. They need to be extra special to get into his squad up to this season. Rogers, as Hazy posted in another thread has openly admitted that he was neither ready nor good enough during his time here. I wont hold my breath that Pep will change his outlook but his approach has worked for the most part and our business model funds incoming transfers with sales from the academy.

O’Reilly is a great example. Not had a bad game for our first team yet - but he’s been given 21 minutes in the Prem ALL SEASON. That’s so poor from Pep. No way he’d be worse than Bernardo.
Chelsea coming in for him last transfer window - why wouldn’t he want to go there and play first team football? He’s ready for a lot more minutes than he’s being given, that’s for sure.
Rogers I can understand - everyone in front of him was brilliant at the time. That’s not the case for O’Reilly now.

If Josko is injured, I'm expecting O'Reilly to take his place, but wouldn't bet against Pep putting Bernie back there

According to Romano, our "dream signing" would be Wirtz.
No time to act pretentious. Break the fucking bank for him, no fucking around. Sign him as soon as possible, no dancing around. We announced Erling before the season ended. Do the same.

We need a pair of full backs. We've needed a lb for 10 years. That, yesterday was fucking ridiculous. I get that we now have too many sick notes but lets stop trying to put square pegs in round holes.
I'd hope that us releasing the details of KDB leaving means we have a replacement lined up. That said, I'd be mighty surprised and delighted if it is Wirtz.

A terrible game. For me me we need a deeper squad of quality players being given a chance. We need hunger and desire, which is lacking. That has to be our chairman’s priority.
I will add Gibbs White the Palace defender. That adds English players plus Wirtz. I would even take Palmer back. We need genuine full backs or it’s 3 at the back plus backup.

If Stones and Grealish go, I think it might be more than talk.
