When Bernardo goes I will have nothing but respect for what he has done for us and a special warm feeling for what he did to the dippers in the ' guard of honor' moment.

Bernardo posted: "And to all Liverpool fans that have nothing else to do than to come to a Man City player account, I'm also sorry for you but for the wrong reasons...pathetic... go celebrate your titles, or try to find a partner, drink a beer with a friend, read a book... so many options!"

Legend.

he's been so far below par this season its untrue but it hasn't changed my fondness of him. I think his form this season is due to him being totally burnt out because we've run him into the ground. he is never injured, will play where ever he's asked and is also a little bit a shithouse - will go down as one of my all time favourites. He also never stops trying even if he is having a stinker - unfortunately this year he seems to always be 2nd to every 50/50 physically and he's lost a yard of pace

If he is leaving this summer hopefully he can put in a few more performances like the other night in the remaining 5 (or hopefully 6) fixtures because I don't want our last memories of him being how bad this season has been and we forget all of the good times he's had here. And he hates the dippers and united like one of us

All jokes aside, I’ll be gutted when Ed leaves. One of my all time favourites. Before this season was a warrior for us, often putting his body in the way.

Never heard of him when we signed him, but he’s turned out to be perfect for what we needed. The two stops in the CL final last minute will be remembered.

How has Taylor Harwood Bellis fared this season?

Think he’s done well for a poor side. Similar to Delap. I’d imagine they’ll be at Spurs, Everton or Villa next season

When Eddie and Bernie leave will they deserve a plate, a statue?

They've been as crucial as Kevin, Vinnie or Gundog, if you ask me.

If we keep him on and play him in midfield next season, every time the oppositions goalie is out he will score from just outside the City penalty area , got to be worth a punt ( no pun intended).

I wish i could say something positive, but everytime i have watched Soton this season , i've looked for him to see how he plays. However, i think the championship or worse looms for him.

Weren't they talking him up as future England captain earlier in the season?

Beeb gossip column reports that kdb will not play in the world club cup competition. Reason is he does not want to risk injury in search of new contracts. OK, but surely at the time it is being played he is out of contract , no ?

Without checking, typically contracts expire 30th June. Our group games are all before that date, not sure about if we progress.

The only reason I am showing even the slightest interest in this shit show that FIFA have cooked up is because I am in Marbella on holiday for the first 3 games.

He’s had a decent season mate. He will be playing in the Prem next season, put it that way. Will probably have a similar career to Ben Mee.

Watched the Burnley sheff utd game last monday. THB would be a good option for them along with the young French cb that they have

Started pretty much every game for them.

21 starts at CB and 15 at LB

Shea Charles, sold to Southampton and on loan to Sheff Wed, has had a top season. Mates a Wednesday fan and says Charles sees things before most players do, calm on the ball , etc. Everything you’d expect from a City grad.

I think Bobb should be loaned out a season in the Premier League. See if he gets a proper form going.

FIFA have brought in some specific rules especially for this tournament because of the timing and usual contract dates. There is a special registration window to allow players to sign short term contracts just to cover the tournament if needs be - I think they're hoping Ronaldo signs for one of the teams involved as he's out of contract at the end of the season.

I’d rather blood a youngster than play Kev in this CWC.
