Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Can't see how he plays even if we wanted him to. His contract finishes end of June right in the middle of the CWC so unless they agreed some short term extension what's the point. Let one of the youngsters go

About the first time Ive ever 100% agreed with you.

Did the manager tell him he wasn't going to be any part of next season or was he told by the spafia ?

If pep had any decency about him he would surely have met up with Kevin over some tapas and told him first.

( Maybe I should ask this question to Doug or Stupot )

I've already said i wouldn't take him.
One of my favourite ever players but as with David Silva, Aguero, Yaya, Vinnie when it's time to go then it's thanks and goodbye, build a statue and get Wirtz in.
Amazing isn't it, we're going to end up with a better season, more points, hopefully the FA Cup with the manager you've called the most clueless in World Football the last 3 games than we did with Pellers last season when he had all the players mentioned above in their prime.

The irony is he pretended he was injured for 3 months this season and it clearly irked Pep - hence his comments at the time. Aguero got the exact same treatment and got on with it and moved to Barca.

Perhaps Kev is realising there’s only MLS and Saudi teams interested and it’s hurt his pride.

The question was DID PEP TALK TO KDB BEFORE THE SPAFIA DID !! ....If he didn't then hes a fucking coward as KDB deserved more respect....not even fucking arguable.

I also said that this season PePs been one of the most clueless managers for a top team in world football and Ill stand by that...most shocking mind numbing team selections all season - hes even admitted hes been shit this season ffs !!.
As for you slating Pellers yet again..tut tut.......Pellers was sacked , and rightly so, but we should never ignore what he achieved with us...we played some fantastic football.

By the way pep is ( allegedly) back with his Mrs....that will mean more time away from City to see her ( Id imagine) ........cant see this being a positive for my club...can you ?

Well at the time it was said that Pep said it but the implications that Pep is a coward is ridiculous even for you.Great that you mention Kev and respect in the same sentence the way you've had a go at him.

Pellegrini and what he achieved for us is another classic. Won the league with Mancinis team and was then wose the next season culminating in the season I talked about which was worse than this season but without the amount of injuries. What he achieved, you're too thick to see the irony.

Pep's missus has been in Barcelona for a few years, didn't stop the treble did it so anything that makes him happier will be a positive for my club in my opinion

Gotta disagree Carl. Pep begged Walker to stay and set up some ridiculous meeting with him in a restaurant and look how that turned out. Kev should have put more effort in this season and he might have had that chat.

I don’t think Kevin feigned injury for a single day. If a player feels pain it doesn’t always show up on scans. He played with a dodgy hamstring in the treble year and paid for it by having to come off in the final and then having surgery which took him out for half a season. Not surprising he was extremely cautious about coming back in the light of that experience. Anyway from where we are I think Kevin will be let off the group stages of the CWC. So his last match, if selected, will be the FA Cup final as Captain if we get through on Sunday. If we fail the last match at home will be at Bournemouth. I’ll be there giving him a huge send off. He deserves it.

One player who won’t be transferred is Nico O’Reilly. Check out this last minute winning scorpion kick for the EDS!

More ridiculous than Pep ordering City to pay €150m for Bellendingham?

8 goals 7 assists this season. I would do a straight swap for McAtee

I’m
Not saying pep should have asked him to stay as he 100% shouldn’t have asked him to stay - Kev is the past .

What irks me is pep should have talked to him first , before the spafia spoke to him to tell him he’s not wanted next season - or do we compare walkers contribution to KDB contribution over the last 10 years or so ?

It’s basic decency mase - KDB deserved better treatment from our manager , or do we just base the managers treatment towards KDB’s departure on his performance over the last season ?

Pellegrini joined Manchester City in the summer of 2013 and led them to a Premier League and League Cup double in his first season. He won the League Cup again in 2015/16, while also claiming the Premier League Manager of the Month award on four occasions during his time at the club.

The title winning season was also noted for goal scoring prowess, with Manchester City scoring 151 goals in all competitions – an English football record.[6] Pellegrini also managed to take Manchester City to their first ever semi-final in Champions League in 2015–16, which was his last season, after finishing in fourth-place with 66 points

First 3 years Pellegrini spent 150 million pounds
First 3 years pep spent nearly 800 million euros

You continuing to slate pellegrini is fucking laughable……….. laughable !!!

I’d have called him and said, “Sorry pal, cried off in two finals? Go swivel mate. All the best” but that’s just me

66 points- 4th place- with that squad. That's fucking laughable.. He didn’t need to spend.
The semi final you talk about in the Champions League was the most embarrassing display ever. I spent a fortune on a 2 day trip to Madrid and he threw in the towel before the game.
Pep's 1st season with his basic squad he still did better than Pellegrini.
Following year history was made and has continued to be made and you've slagged him off in every one of those years

Can you do basic math ?

150 million compared to PePs 800 million in the first 3 years !!!

You’ve slagged off Pellegrini , with some venom I might add , constantly .

Disgraceful attitude.

As for slagging off pep , I’ve given him plenty of accolades over the years but I’ll take slagging him off to defcon 5 if we don’t qualify for the CL , especially after spending stupid amounts of money to make sure we should absolutely qualify year on year.

I can do basic maths yes, 2 more wins in the last 4 games and the most clueless manager in world football has more points than the gentleman Pellegrini in that year you thought was wonderful..
Can you do basic English- you have never praised him over all these unbelievable years without a "but" or an asterix. Everyone on here knows it.

Are you stupid ? Can you not read what I wrote or do you just prefer to take out little bits and pieces of my posts to suit your drivel and make shit up as you go along.

Just about half of the ones who participated in the pep out survey wants a new manager next season as they are also sick and tired of watching the same copy and paste tactics and team selections that have been dished up for 90% of the season -

Now fuck off and bore some other cunt .
