Evanilson's red card against the rags has just been rescinded so he can play against us and the other 2 games he was missing.
How can the ref be told to go to the monitor to check whether it should be upgraded to a red( when they're instructed to check it's practically a formality they'll change their mind) and then it be rescinded on appeal when presumably they've looked at the exact same footage.
Absolute disgrace.

Ref should have a few weeks off unpaid. However the worst that will happen is he refs a Championship game on full pay. Disgraceful

The ref should have had the bollocks to stick to his original decision after going to the monitor but it's those controlling VAR who should be fined. They had the benefit of seeing it again from all the angles and still called him over

Sacked is the only acceptable outcome here. It’s not human error, it’s corruption, simple as that

And that has absolutely no place in sport of any kind. Or indeed most business in the wider world

Leave the ref and VAR alone, they were acting on orders. It only makes any sense when you realise who they were playing......and the fact that who they were playing were losing and needed a helping hand.

Yep, he said that they were told to give x amount of corners etc throughout a game. Funny he’s had to move abroad now…

Met Halsey on my lunch about 15 years ago. Thanked him for adding that time on and we joked about it. He was supporting City against Madrid a few seasons back at the Bernabeu and posted it on Twitter
