If we got what we paid for him I wouldn’t mind. He hasn’t done enough for me

It's probably a bullshit story. Why even would a player want to leave after only six months? If things aren't going well what about some professional pride, knuckle down and make things work? Not settling in Manchester? Give it some more time and see what happens. Worried about game time? Speak to the manager and see what you need to do to improve your chances. It really doesn't look good on your CV if you decide you can't hack it at MCFC after 5 months.
And not doing enough? Perhaps not but then there's an old thread called "What does Yaya actually do?" and I don't remember Merlin having the best first 5 months either.
That being said, it'll get twisted so it's all Pep's fault but if he really wants to leave after only 5 months he should go find himself a nice easy job where he doesn't have to try very hard.

Including Bernado/Gundogan/Akanji/Ake/Stones/Lewis etc
If this is true it is going to be a fucking horrible season watching Lewis as an inverted Full back and Akanji slowing everything down to a Snails pace.
Unsurprising if one or two of the new signing's think they are better than what is before them in the pecking order.
I can not wait for Pep to fuck off with his Mates. And we get back to picking the best 11 again. Rather than the Bald prick spitefully picking players out of loyalty because he has too much power and he can unchallenged.
Not looking forward to the new season. the starting 11 against wolves will be made up of his mates that embarrassed us in United States.

Khusanov cost how much again ? And he’s been sent to Siberia .
I suppose that’s all his fault.
You honestly think these players didn’t want to “knuckle down”? Pep’s track record shows if you don’t hit the ground sprinting, you’re fucked off to the bench or worse . So no — it’s not just “Pep blame” or “he’s soft.” It’s a repeating pattern where Pep signs someone, barely plays them, then we cut losses quietly.
If Nico does leave, it’s not about “not trying hard enough” — it’s that he sees the writing on the wall. Just like plenty of other players have.

It hasn't been reported that Khusanov is asking to leave after 5 months. I'm talking about Nico. I believe it is a bullshit story but if it isn't then it isn't very admirable of him to throw the towel in this soon. He too will have known about Pep's "track record" so why did he bother coming at all if he was just going to sack if off at the first sign of adversity? I don't think there is a repeated pattern of this kind of behaviour at all.

Again, why bother coming if it was so obviously going to happen? He's here, if he spits his dummy out after 5 months he's very likely not got what it takes and should be nowhere near the first team.

I think you need to get your facts right, the rumour is the manager doesn't fancy him not even on rotation basis. He hasn't spat his dummy out, its a case the manager doesn't fancy him. That's 150m of players (Grealish and Nico) the manager doesn't fancy. He gave Rodders a year with regular football to settle, he keeps playing grandad Gundo when clearly been shocking, he keeps playing defender in disguise Akanji. So, on that basis there is a pattern. Now, if he wants it his way, that's fine, he better foking deliver this season, no more credit in the bank.
