As if Rodri would go there after what they did

Read yesterday that he was wanting 300K a week to stay. No way the murderers will go anywhere near that amount

They've already spent close to £200m on two players. Isak is another £100m easy. They won't get him this summer that's for sure

Wouldn't be surprised. They will have plenty in the bank for winning the PL and doing well in CL. And they haven't spent much last few years really
I reckon they get him

Not sure. Southampton got £109m last season and were relegated - they're not going to spend £100m on two players, for example. Seems like Diaz is going to Bayern, if they can get a decent chunk for him then it's a possibility, but then where do they play both strikers they'll have bought? And how does Salah fit in with that. Just can't see it being this summer.
I can see Isak signing a new contract at Newcastle though
Edit: apparently hes told them he wants to go. Still can't see Liverpool paying £100-150m for him (£150m is the asking price by all accounts)

Isak has said he wants to explore options this transfer window
Basically he either wants out or a massive pay increase

Don't know how you've come to that conclusion. We made 3 really good signings before the CWC. There's probably only Liverpool up there with us on signings made. We came 3rd last season after being way out of it at Xmas. 2 horse race, us and the dippers again.

Are they really good tho? Half of the January signings seem to be looking at loan deals to Girona, I’m not big on European football so unsure about any of the last 10 signings, all I know is Isak and Wirtz are guaranteed to improve Liverpool. I fear Arsenal and Chelsea are also looking stronger.

Ait Nouri is quality. Has been fantastic for Wolves and is just what we've needed there. Cherki could be every bit as good as Wirtz for a fraction of the price and Reijnders looks great too. Marmoush is getting better and better. I think our signings far exceed Arsenal and Chelsea.

Did you not watch the Juve match? And City were actually really good in the first half Vs Al Hilal (should have been 5-0 up, usual story of wasted chances). I wouldn't get too negative about a strange pre season tournament that the players didn't even want to play in

To be fair, the Scousers can spend without “ruining football” and without constant scrutiny. The agenda It’s not just about the money , "it’s about how smart their business has been".
Right now, their recruitment looks spot on. Psychologically, they might be a bit shaken after the Jota situation, but they still look sharp on paper. Arsenal too.
What’s frustrating about us is that we seem to be dithering. We moved quickly with a few transfers, but now we’re stuck in this limbo of: do we really need a right-back and a goalkeeper, or are we good as we are? I get the feeling Viana would bring them in, but Pep’s the one hesitating.

There's a lot of gooners at our Head Office and none of them are over excited with the spending. They've bought 2 Chelsea cast offs who most definitely don't improve the 1st team, ditto the Brentford captain and the guy from Portugal when they wanted Isak. Nunez came to Liverpool from Portugal with an unbelievable record there when we got Haaland and we've all seen how that's worked out.
