Zubimendi is probably the only one who improves the 1st team.

After we were linked with him, i paid more attention to his play but must say, i wasn,t overly impressed in the few games i have seen him play.

Right now, their recruitment looks spot on. Psychologically, they might be a bit shaken after the Jota situation, but they still look sharp on paper. Arsenal too.
What’s frustrating about us is that we seem to be dithering. We moved quickly with a few transfers, but now we’re stuck in this limbo of: do we really need a right-back and a goalkeeper, or are we good as we are? I get the feeling Viana would bring them in, but Pep’s the one hesitating.
There's a lot of gooners at our Head Office and none of them are over excited with the spending. They've bought 2 Chelsea cast offs who most definitely don't improve the 1st team, ditto the Brentford captain and the guy from Portugal when they wanted Isak. Nunez came to Liverpool from Portugal with an unbelievable record there when we got Haaland and we've all seen how that's worked out.
yes, but Gyokeres ripped us apart when we played Sporting back in the fall last season. He was in demand, so who knows. Nunez looks like a cunt, that is why he failed.

He scored a hat trick of which 2 were penalties crazily conceded. If that's ripping us apart fair enough.
Nunez had very similar stats in Portugal, let's see if they have similar in the PL

we ripped sporting apart for the first 40 mins or so minutes of that game. 10 crazy mins either side of half time killed us and created the headlines. amorin and gyokeres benefitted from city brain farts rather than being exceptional.

Gooners have signed Gyokeres from sporting Lisbon, on paper he looks outstanding 66 games 68 goals , aged 27 , £63.5M.
If he is that good why didnt nobby at the rags go on for him?
Not sure I've seen play, what are others opinions?

Can't help but remember two years ago he was bang average at Coventry in the championship
Time will always tell but if I was a gooner I wouldn't be thrilled

I want at another centre half or 2 if we have to rely on Nathan Jonny Stones, we will be facing the same old rotation of a B4 as they cannot do 2 games a week. Easing Rodri back in on top not going to cut it for me. We have everything going forward on paper, we need reliable defenders.

Can we not perm 2 from Dias Khusanov Gvardiol Reis or are the new lads not up to first team

We have numbers and Gvardiol who plays FB is the best of them as a CB which for me Is a concern.

Given a choice would you rather have Doku or Diaz?
Both similar players with similar price tags, albeit Diaz is slightly higher.
I'd have Diaz over Doku 9 times out of 10

Very quiet on the exits. We’re going to need several.
Any of the following surely are in danger.
Ake
Akanji
Gundo
Ortega
Stones
Grealish
Kova
Mcatee
I’m sure I’m forgetting some.
Tracking back is overrated.

People keep adding Gundo to the leavers list for this summer....
He signed a 1 yr contract extension back in April until end of 26, so doubt he will be going....

Common knowledge but with Galatasaray sniffing around it’s still a strong possibility he goes.
