Now, we have Ederson (ok, one year left in his contract), some consider him world class, but no one can deny he's been one of the GK that won the most trophies in the past 8 years, still with fuel on his tank, and we get ... 3 mil from Galatasaray.
What am I missing? What is this shit?
Do we have a reputation for being soft?

All of those Chelsea players are young and at the start of their careers and will all have resale value.
The price clubs pay these days is as much about creative accounting as it is football.
We get decent money when selling young academy players. But we are very soft with the older ones. Kind of like a reward for loyalty that we aren't restrictive when it's time for them to move on

Yeah, but 3 mil?
Not seen anywhere we've accepted £3M for Ederson. Have I missed something?

Understandable when he is played wrong constantly. When was it, with Leicester? When he was played on the left, his natural, scored and assisted, then went back on the right for a few games where he was mediocre.
But good money that, to be honest. If we have someone in line like Rodrygo, he can go, but if he goes and we stay with a small squad, then we are being foolish.
We did something like this with Alvarez last season, sold him without bringing in someone and that turned out great for us.

Savio had more opportunities than anyone last season.
He himself has said that he likes that Mahrez role, cutting in from the right - even taking Mahrez's old number. Pep's given that role to him and he's not been great. I'd say Spurs have offered us a decent offer, he wants to leave, and we have Bobby, Cherki, Phil, Bernardo, Doku that can all play that position.
