Grealish is on the list everyone else is moaning about in my eyes. I don’t think we can say pep needs to get rid of all the unproductive players and then also say he’s being too mean to Grealish. The guy went a bloody year without a goal.

I’m less worried than some, but not completely convinced Pep has learnt by the way. I do think at least 4 need to go. 2 in defense and 2 in the middle. 4 from the 6 below would balance the squad nicely.

Kova, Gundo, Grealish, Ake, Akanji, Stones
Tracking back is overrated.

My issue is the double standards and the fact grealish's legs haven't gone and he was quality the two times hes played in CM (where we need legs)

So, Chelsea sold: Broja to Burnley for 20 mil, Ugochukwu also to them for 23 mil, Dewsbury-Hall to Everton for 28 mil and most likely will get rid of Jackson for about 30 mil.

Now, we have Ederson (ok, one year left in his contract), some consider him world class, but no one can deny he's been one of the GK that won the most trophies in the past 8 years, still with fuel on his tank, and we get ... 3 mil from Galatasaray.

What am I missing? What is this shit?
Do we have a reputation for being soft?

All of those Chelsea players are young and at the start of their careers and will all have resale value.

The price clubs pay these days is as much about creative accounting as it is football.

We get decent money when selling young academy players. But we are very soft with the older ones. Kind of like a reward for loyalty that we aren't restrictive when it's time for them to move on

Yeah, but 3 mil?

Not seen anywhere we've accepted £3M for Ederson. Have I missed something?

No, we told them to fuck off it seems.
But just the idea of them coming to us and offer that. Also all our italian deals in the past.

Understandable when he is played wrong constantly. When was it, with Leicester? When he was played on the left, his natural, scored and assisted, then went back on the right for a few games where he was mediocre.
But good money that, to be honest. If we have someone in line like Rodrygo, he can go, but if he goes and we stay with a small squad, then we are being foolish.
We did something like this with Alvarez last season, sold him without bringing in someone and that turned out great for us.

Savio had more opportunities than anyone last season.

He himself has said that he likes that Mahrez role, cutting in from the right - even taking Mahrez's old number. Pep's given that role to him and he's not been great. I'd say Spurs have offered us a decent offer, he wants to leave, and we have Bobby, Cherki, Phil, Bernardo, Doku that can all play that position.

What do you expect him to say, to be honest? Is the manager playing him out of position, or are the tactics wrong? Those were courtesy words, if you ask me.
And I hope to the heavens we are going to play Cherki where he should and not make him a winger. We are going to have another Grealish on our hands.

Agree, the money for Sav are good, if he wants to go and we get the money for a top winger like Rodrygo, I am all for it.

Just curious why he wants out.

If we can get our money back, or even a little profit, I'd snatch their hands off.

Hasn't convinced me at all there's a PL in there waiting to explode any time soon. Be very underwhelming most of the time. And a shame because I think we all had high hopes for him after his previous season at Girona

His best game for us was on the right against Newcastle at home. Unfortunately those performances were far too few

Well if Savio is unhappy and wants to leave ,better he goes. We have enough that can play on the wing and run into dead end situations.

Its a world cup season and he wants to play more, and thinks he will get that at spurs, lets be honest he probably will. Does this mean Echeverri stays?

If we use the money to get a proper right back then i am OK with it.

A lot of truth in these posts. Saw a lot of his games for Girona the previous season and was happy that we'd signed him. There is a player in there I've no doubt but we've not seen him often enough. Whether that's tactics or the boy himself who can say. I've not seen any of these rumours so cannot comment on the £, but money back and more, I'd let him go. Bobb is a better option on the right

Savio was given far more opportunities than McAtee last season. Ungrateful little twat. Fuck him off for anything over £50m but drag it out with Levy the baldy cunt.

Get rid ASAP. I don’t rate him above just being OK……..and that ain’t good enough, he’s not fit to lace Bobb’s boots. He’s had more chances than most. My fingers are crossed.
