Interesting situation this one.

We should get Eze they'll come straight back

as good as eze is he's injury prone and we don't want any more sicknotes
give me rodrygo any day over him - i'll actually be pissed off if he doesn't come
only palace player i'd like is guehi (i'd also take their rb, munoz, if he was 5 years younger)

Yes, agreed on Eze's injury record. I think we're done with the cbs so doubt we will go for Guehi but would get my vote if we went in with an offer for him. Finding myself agreeing in that I'd be pissed off if we now don't get Rodrygo

Trafford and Donnaruma would be better than Ed and Ortega but I don't see us going after Donnaruma unless we know Ed is going

Dollarruma is one of the few gk that can be called elite in today's football. But if you follow his steps, he is an absolute money-grabbing cunt. The incident of Milan fans throwing paper money at him will always tell the story.

I don't think we are even interested in him. Rags will get him.

He'll be for us what van Der sar was for them lot. Get him. Don't fuck about. I love Eddie but I don't think his heart is in it any more and we need a real shot stopper. Very few quality keepers around any more but this fella absolutely is.

It's a non story even if they would.
Trafford has only come to us knowing Eddie has a year left at most. There's no way we'd bring in another keeper.fighting for the Number 1 spot.

Donnarumma talk seems quite strong. Pep must fancy him at Rightback.
Is there no decent proper rightback we can get? All seems to have gone tits up with Livramento. Newcastle being pounded by a scouse siegegun must have pissed them off

Read re the barcodes that they've currently got no chief executive nor sporting director since summer so that's not ideal for transfer negotiations. We HAVE to get in a proper rb so you'd hope we have options. Would the Qatari's sell to us - that's a proper old school blood feud cannot see Donnaruma happening

We've won countless trophies without a proper left back so we can do the same on the right.
I suspect Nunes and Rico will be fine against a lot of the lesser teams as both are good going forward and against better teams with a strong attack now he's got Gvardial/Dias/Khus/ Ake/Akanji for CB options i can see Stones at RB especially as World Cup year means he'll probably stay fit.

Hopefully Rico starts at Wolves as Nunes is as bad against Wolves as Sterling was against Liverpool.

I think you're spot on re Stones and WC year. A fully fit and focused Stones is a thing of beauty for us. Not at all convinced with Rico or Nunes at right back. Put a versatile, rb in there . We've finally look to have sorted the lb problem let's not just switch it to the other flank. The really decent teams will pick us apart . If we cannot get our preferred rb option assuming we have one, I'd prefer Khus there as he is fucking rapid and defensive minded

Our tide turned in the treble season when he took Cancelo off at half time against Chelsea and put Rico on. Rico was only exposed last season with no Rodri when he couldn't cope with the long ball over the top.Now with Rodri and Reinjders he'll have protection again. He also has a telepathic relationship with Bobb who is fit again. I think he could be very good this season.

I think the make up or our squad with legs in midfield and possibly more pace at the back suits Rico and I too think he’ll have a better time this year. I hope so as I love the idea of these academy players really making it long term.

Have always thought the same about the Lewis Bobb combination. You can see that they're on the same wavelength and are used to each others game. Don't disagree about the lack of midfield cover exposing Lewis. I guess come the end of the transfer window, we will know where Pep is with it. I suspect Lewis will start on Saturday. I watched Wolves last weekend as it was on over here. They were poor against the not so mighty Celta
