I would think City would know what is going to happen and thats why they've held off bankrupting the PL over APT rules.
Some horse trading was always inevitable. We as fans would have loved the PL to be publicly beaten and fucked over but those things never happen

That last line is the kicker for me. We will always be known as Man Cheaty. I honestly think I'd prefer for us to be found guilty and relegated a division or even two. That way we'd be seen to have been punished and when we recover there'd be a clean(er) slate.

That's not including the deals with FAB (First Abu Dhabi Bank) and Etisalat, both of which are also blockbusters and were actually the deals impacted for which City wanted compensation for being blocked.

I see the logic in this, however I give you the counterpoint of "fuck em, let's break 200 next time, you think THIS was us cheating? Just see what we get up to when we're cleared."

And I say this from the point of view that these rules were brought in specifically to target us and call everything we did into question. Remember when any contracts signed before FFP kicked in didn't count towards FFP calculation? Then "oh no, you misinterpreted what we said, they DO count, and you're in breach, and we're going to ban you from Europe for two years and fine you a huge amount" And god forbid you go to CAS and find that an impartial panel will call it bollocks.

Now we're going to change the rules so you can't go to CAS and here is 115 charges. And I know it was UEFA once and the FA this time but they are acting like they are connected human centipede style and so who fucking cares which hole this shit is coming from.
