Not so sure its insane. A lot of good points have been made by those who want change. I am torn on it now.

It really annoys me that we think we can go all season without a proper right back. Nunes and Lewis will make mistakes that will cost points. That is clear as crystal.

That to me is appalling squad management.

Yes neither are good enough in that position but one man keeps playing them there where they make the same mistakes and cost us points. Lewis is too weak and lacks physicality to make up for his poor defensive positioning , tidy on ball yes and could be a player there but never a full back and he’s been set up to be abused.
The decision to change the two that late in game was idiotic. Look at their second goal, Lewis has gone into the middle of park, where no doubt was told to be, Stones is too far over to full back position and Dias too deep playing them all on and outnumbered.

If we keep playing same players who aren’t Upto it the same position and they are costing games it’s the managers fault. I don’t for one minute believe if he has told the board he needs a new right back since January that they wouldn’t have gotten someone in by now. Yes most wanted Livermento but if he’s not available there are many actual right backs that do a better job that players being thrown in there.

Pep said we were excellent for an hour.

Surely massive alarm bells are going off in the boardroom

Most pundits are of the opinion we were ok up to the first goal and until Brighton decided to push back .

iN REALITY IT DOESN'T MATTER PEP - WE LOST AGAIN TO AN AVERAGE SIDE SURRENDERING A LEAD IN THE PROCESS.

Performances have deteriorated for at least 18 months, we are fed the same boring football and our appetite for it has been exhausted for many.

Me neither.

This will take the fans turning on Pep first.

I think he could be gone by Christmas tbh.

I have seen enough in these last 2 defeat's to suggest the problems might go much deeper than his out dated system.

There is a distinct lack of effort from the 11 on the Pitch to try and reverse a potential defeat when we go behind. That second half against Spurs we never remotely looked like getting back in to the game. Same again today against Brighton. Does not bode well for the Big games coming up.

Is it fitness related, attitude related No excuse for lack of effort.

Not something us Blues will tolerate.Even when we were shit players put shifts in.

Watching players play like they are doing a walking Football add for TV is unacceptable.

The goings on regarding signings and letting players go is an absolute pantomime and we have lost the plot. Pep just has to go, he’s becoming an embarrassment. Shades of the special one who is now a laughing stock. Pep is heading that way, he’s so far up his own arse he hasn’t a clue what to do. I predict the rags will finish above us this year wherever that may be and it definitely won’t be anywhere near the top. How the mighty has fallen. The sooner the hierarchy realise this the sooner we will be challenging again.

Today’s another fucking example of why I believe Pep is no longer the man for us. I demanded five games to prove he still had it. He’s had more thank 5 games – and he’s told us loud and clear that this isn’t fucking working anymore and yet he still persists with his shit house tactics and starting 11.

We all know that if it wasn’t for Haaland we’d be languishing around 10th. That’s no exaggeration. We are light years anywhere near the level of consistency expected of us – in fact we’re slipping to the level of the “rags” we regularly laugh at - the fucking irony !!!
Some might point out “But we were only three points behind the top spot!” (Stupot, for sure.) lovely ! — but that sounds exactly like covering up the massive fucking cracks that are everywhere in our team. The phrase ‘papering over the cracks has never felt more appropriate.
Where is the structure, the energy, where is it ?? … it’s fuckign gone, that’s where !! We’re just too reliant on Haaland doing miracles, and when everyone else doesn’t turn up – we’re basically a mid table team.
The club deserves fresh leadership IMO , a new mission, a team that doesn’t just scrape by but dominates like we did before - the amount of resources that have gone into our club we should be going neck and neck with the leaders and playing football that reflects that ,season after season. Right now , we are just coasting, not commanding fuckall.

I’ll get back to my carminere and cheese now .

The annoying thing about all this shit anti football we are being served up is the fact it is so predictable. When we seem to be improving Pep makes fucking sure he puts a stop to it by reverting to type & picking a totally dysfunctional team so annoying

Funny how there's been nothing on this thread for 2 months isn't it and who couldn't wait to post on it again.
Carl demanded, fucking hell Sheikh Mansoor, are you not listening and Carl says if it wasn't for Haaland we'd be mid table. The same Haaland Carl said we should have sold and kept Alvarez. Comedy gold.

Well, it's because people are tired of going on and on with the same things.
We won games, but that does not necessarily mean we also looked class.

First defeat in ten.

Should have had a penalty and they hardly had a kick second half

People need to get a grip.

I can only speak for me, but the defeat isn't the issue - it's the manner of it. It shows Pep hasn't learnt a thing from last season. Everyone could see that midfield wasn't right from when the team was announced. Everyone knew Josko at LB is crap. Everyone knows Bernardo's legs have gone.

Everyone but Pep.

I'll take losing all day long, as long as we give it a good go with our best team possible.

There’s been plenty on the match threads — constant moaning about how we play and how Baldy sets us up like it’s a training drill every week. Maybe try watching before running your mouth off !
Without Haaland, we would be mid-table. You can call that BS but the numbers don’t lie.
As for “comedy gold” — mate, you’re performing at the Palladium with this level of denial - you are 100% comedy gold when it comes to defending the indefensible.
So before trying to be a smart arse cunt , maybe deal in reality: we’re a one-man goal machine away from looking like Arsenal in a dry spell.

Rarely do I post these days. I’ll say this the vibe I see with the players is what I want to see. Last season was a season of frustration for all of us Not now there is energy. Just lacked control today. Villa are a good side, move on.

He needs to start playing Cherki for one. The only guy that will unlock 12 men behind the ball

There's always plenty on the match threads until we take the lead then it goes as quiet as Alvarez at The Emirates the other night.
If you can't see the difference between us this season and last then it's not me not watching.
Lost 3 games this season all of which we did last but improved against rags, Arsenal, Brentford and the 1st 3 CL games. FACTS
