He'll be at the Etihad on sunday, either handing in the Chavs teamsheet or slicing City's half time oranges .

Looking at the HYS comments on the Beeb he will fit right in with his endless sideways and backwards passing that everyone has worked out - cannot wait

Apparently he told them twice in October he was speaking to us about when Pep leaves and mentioned it again to them in December...

He's too much of a maverick to be considered by our hierarchy.

Trying to publish a book against the conditions of his contract and openly criticising upper management for not signing some players he wanted.

He is most definitely not the level we require.

Basically, he should continue as a No2 ala kevin bond or Brian Kidd.

Chelsea are a bit of a mess. We really are very lucky to have sensible owners.

He's been at City a couple of times so the Club will know what they're dealing with better than us.

That’s as maybe.

But his football style is duller than anything we’ve ever seen. I’d be seriously underwhelmed if he replaced Pep

And I do think he’s on the shortlist as well

If he had it on his Chelsea contract he was allowed to speak with us, then he's definitely on the shortlist. I'd be surprised if we ended up with him though

The way I read that was be was obliged to inform the Chelsea hierarchy if he had talks with other clubs not specifically City. Seems quite specific if it named us specifically in his contract.
