This. Dias shouldnt be playing. Got rinsed a few times.

Tbf Gordon and Elanga will rinse many a backline. Bringing Khus on was the sensible option he's far quicker than Dias and we looked better because of it. Leave that pairing alone now for me but think Pep will put Dias straight back in at Leeds

Stinks of his favourites regardless of form and it pisses me off

We've got a good variety of CBs and we should be selecting them based on the opposition and type of game. Dias was the wrong choice yesterday due to the pace of the opposition, but there will probably be some really big games ahead where his cool head, organisation and calm presence will be needed.

Guehi, Stones, Gvardiol, Dias and Khus with Alleyne as well is a really stacked backline with top class players. All with different strengths and weaknesses. Thinking back to the treble season (and champs league final) we've arguably got better players to play the hybrid defence and midfield with Stones floating about now with Khus or Gvardiol being a better option than Akanji was in the full back / CB slot in a back 3 in attack that becomes a 4 when defending

The barcodes game plan was very obvious from the off last night. Gordon and elanga both gave our CB's something to think about. Gordon looked like a greyhound against Dias and Guehi, thank god for Khush!!

2nd half, Gordon was nullified, you could see him constantly moving away from Kush and putting himself wherever Guehi was as he knew that's where he could impact the game better. However, Guehi played a good 2nd half with his positional play and allowing Khush to sweep up

100% agree

Khus has been incredible - Días gets rinsed too many times and has been a liability on too many occasions - Khus is way ahead of him IMO.

Agreed but based on the teamsheets youd have assumed Woltemade play up top and Dias is the right man to mark him. What happeend tho was he dropped deep and gordon played high which caused us some problems until kusanov came on.

I think pep got it right, start with Dias, it didnt work change to kusanov at half time. Perfect management for me.

Eddie Howe has a master plan for Woltemade by playing him as a 10 in the absence of Bruno. I don't understand why he is doing that but he has done it for a few games now, which has led to the reports of Woltemade being unhappy.

Biggest no.10 I have ever seen

I don't think Woltemade has the fitness for the PL. There have been rumours of him being traded back to Germany.
