He, when he's on song will be a major asset to England in the WC, but he has to get there and at the moment, he's nowhere near the squad. As in all sports elite performance is down to ability, which we know he's got in abundance, and confidence which has obviously departed for whatever reason. We need him at his best and the only way he'll get his confidence back is by performing on the pitch when he gets his opportunities. So come on Phil, sort your head out..
One of the best things that could happen is for him to miss the WC squad.
Maybe that will wake him up.
Didn't wake Grealish up when he was left out of the Euro 24 squad. He went backwards.

I think Jack Daniels, Jim Bean and Captain Morgan influenced Jackie.
I hope Phil can find his hunger after something like this.

Are you forgetting Haaland's performance against Newcastle recently? He was a complete team player in both boxes for us.

Hows he done at the bernabeau?.l from memory which ever CB they play has him in their pocket. If its rudiger, hes more arsed about tickling him.

Hopefully this is his 5th game at the Bernabeau then! I don't disagree that he's due a match wining performance for us - particularly in the champs league - from memory last time was when he banged in 4 or 5 at home against a German team in the treble year.

He scored the winner at the bernabau in the group game.
Might have been a pen but like at Anfield they have to be scored.
He scored 2 against them in the home game last season as well.

I meant more I don't recall him single handedly carrying us to victory (in the champs league) like a talisman since that game in the treble season.
Wasn't saying he hasn't scored goals.

I was saying it more for Nicks benefit with him saying about being in the CBs pocket despite him scoring 3 in the last 3 games against them

So just a pen in madrid then?
Home games are completely different as in those games every single player has been 10/10.

He is often in the company of Ron Bacardi & Johnny Walker too

Hard No for me.
Needs time under our new Manager whoever that may be.
The entire squad will need revaluating other than the "Dutch Ghost" and Peps " Love Child" who will never be a Premier League players at our level as long as they have holes in their Arses.

City has been Fodens home. For the best part of 2 seasons he has become a bit part player,
I’m not sure what is going on with him. Any future manager would love the old Foden, the current version
No chance.
