Sparklehorse wrote:Hi Zuricity. I am happy to post political stuff on other threads on this forum and I have. What you're missing is that I'm trying to say that his political rants are part of football....and ultimately it is a football issue, because he is dividing the fans and the fans are the club, without them City don't exist, and that's all besides his tactical decisions which have come under a very bright spotlight in recent months. If he's representing Man City on the World stage wearing a keffiyeh and supporting terrorists, I feel that these actions warrant being discussed in football terms and given that this particular topic is whether fans think he should go, I believe its a valid reason to want him to. Is there another manager in football that does this ?

My rants are not passive, my fiancee is Jewish and thus my two boys are jewish and I have a niece and nephew in Jerusalem, so and I'm sure you can understand why I get incensed when the manager of our club is supporting those that would happily kill my family and have done to other Jews in Manchester !!!. However, as a matter of respect to this forum which I enjoy very much, I will not post anything more on this politically divisive topic on here.

You could have put all this information in a new topic on the closed forum. Instead of prolonging this one - on an open football forum. Surely that is not too difficult to ask , is it? I think that is what WW is trying to point out, perhaps i am wrong.

……and is exactly what I said I will do , and have done. Try reading the whole post.

Sparkle, i did read your post entirely and i understand and sympathise with where you are coming from. So where is the new topic in the private forum ? Or did you simply mean no more information, nothing more to say on this topic in the open forum ?

Who is Pep’s replacement then?

I think we will win. However we need early goals. Extra time anyone ?

I think an early storm with one or two goals say in the first 20 mins and its on, if it drags on then the pressure on us will build and it will be very difficult, extra time may well come into it....I'm going for 4-1 in normal time !!

So my view is

We want Enrique or vinnie. We know it's a year early for both.

What do we do?

Says who? An emotional post match pep who's been mugged off again cos he fucked the first leg up? (Like monaco, spurs, Liverpool, lyon and Chelsea final)

It shouldn't be his decision we aren't his play thing.

His decisions are bizarre

Some our best 3 players he doesnt play enough: khus, nico G, cherki - because they are probably not his signings.

He would rather play dias bern rodri ake

Well that's his main trophy gone. After a poor qualifying set of matches and qualifying by the skin of our teeth we go out when faced with Madrid. Themselves not a shadow of their former greatness but they had more than enough to beat us 5-1. Odd team selections, misfiring super star and a continued failure to make our possession football count.
Someone needs to tell Pep that 'possession' football is yesterdays news as they hand him his p45.

Not sure i can face another year of his mental gymnastics it is fucking draining.

Going in to every game wondering what dumb shit will he do today. Kind of ironic he is always fucking about with the squad to play exactly the same way every game.

We went out to Madrid because our Manager totally fucked the first Leg up with his crazy team selection 4-2-4 in Madrid. That is the reality.

Was nice a few of them put a bit of fight in last night. Again reality is we now celebrate effort, because we don't see much of it these days.

He has won the Champions League only 2 Times in 16 campaigns. The one he won with us he very nearly fucked up over thinking it, and it was more down to Inter shit finishing. Literally every Champions League exit is down to him and his crazy shit. We had one of the best teams to grace the planet during our peak and like a Kid in a Sweet Shop he simply didn't know how to get a tune out of it in Europe.

We give him another half a Billion in the Summer there will be no coming back from it,.We already have a team full of his signings that are not good enough that need moving on.

If he stays for that £25,000 000 12 month pay off as much as it will hurt us next season, we give him fuck all and wait for the new Guy to come in.

We will make top 4 this Season only because this Premier League is shit, and we all know it. We are very lucky.

Next season it could be much different. we might be lucky to make top 6.

We are not going through transition. We are treading water under a Manager in terminal decline with a Squad not fit for purpose and back room staff and set piece coach stealing a living.

The Long Pep goodbye has been very damaging.

In addition to the above, is it just me or does Pep sound incoherent in the press conferences, talks in riddles, becoming a total embarrassment to the club.

Spot on.

People expect a stubborn fella like himself to change overnight, but he will not.
We played well last night, but at the end real went on 5-1 on aggregate.

And mostly because of his fuck up in the first leg.

Get in whoever the fuck we are looking at now if Pep is seeing out his final year get them in to work with him. I guess that only works with Alonso or Vinnie though.Personally, it's still too early for Komps let him make his mistakes with the german red shite. I'd still go all in for Enrique but he's a season off yet. I do have the faith that we have a succession plan but it's a hard sell at the minute.
