Can't really blame him.
The problem we have, we have outcast Ortega for refusing a move so if Trafford leaves in January we'll need to buy a new second choice.
We made an absolute mess of the GK situation this summer.
Amateurs.
When donnarumma became available we had to get him only top draw signing since Erling, the fallout was Trafford but doubtful he will ever hit the heights of Donna do try recoup the cost in January
I was willing to forgive and make allowances for the Spurs fuck up.
But wtf was he doing the other day, charging out 50 yards when Stones had it under control?

Are Wharton and Anderson the same profile?
Asking because the first one is key part in one of the best teams in the league, cup and community winners, while the second is near the bottom.

This, absolutely this.
Whoever thinks that we should have done right by Trafford and stuck by him when Gio became available is a fucking loon.
Donnarumma is the best keeper in the world and he was available on the cheap, I thought he was the league's signing of the season, then Rayan Cherki said "hold my beer and watch this".

Massive question around the Donnarumma signing is, why didnt the rags go balls deep for him? They were desperate for a decent keeper and were in talks with Lammens but didn't switch to Donnarumma when they could have. Don't understand it, but glad we got him. I have sat there quite a few times this season and said to myself, Eddy would not have saved that!! I loved Ederson and still miss his outrageous passing ability and ice cold veins, but I love the confidence the defence has in Donnarumma.

He won the lot last season, including the Champions League. Why would he go to a team that's not even in Europe this season?

I agree with that, but why were they not even in the conversation? Would not be the first time they threw money at a signing to convince them to join.

Well, Emi Martinez was right there waiting for a call from them as well, so not like they didn't have the opportunity.
I believe it came down to wage management. Lammens is on £60k/week as opposed to £250k for Donnarumma, and Martinez probably wouldn't sign for less than the £150k/week he is on at Villa.

He rejected them; he only wanted "City" from the rumours.
They spinned to "United rejected the chance of signing Donnarumma".
Great to have media in your wallet.

That "spin" has them looking like a bunch of amateurs. What a great move that was

A bit surprised we are not linked at all with that Nico Paz fella, from Como.
We have a decent relationship with them, Perrone plays there.
Everyone is jizzing themselves about him.

Madrid have a buy back option on him. Even if they don't want him, they'd buy him back to make a larger profit on him.

Fridays BBC gossip says City are closing in on Anderson from Notts Forest. Might wake Foden up.

These two would not weaken the squad
