Shitter way to lose it considering what we were up against.

Losing the title in this way is beyond shite.

Winning the two cups and finishing second is not bad tho.

The team will definitely change different with a new manager in and lots of old timers out like Silva, Stones etc leaving this summer. Both looking forward to it, and dreading it as well...

He has.

Love the way Bournemouth play tbh.

Would not have been disappointed to see him Rock up at City as our Manager. Was surprised Madrid were not in for him.

Hopefully the piss takers calling Maresca " Temu Pep" will be proved wrong.

Micah Richards talks some shit, says he's studied Pep for a while now. Only thing he needs to study is his fucking hairline, £600 a week on haircuts, that's some folks annual wages on haircuts for a thick cunt that could hardly kick a ball.

I put a lot of the blame for us not winning the Premier League on Haalands shite form. Since December, his goal return has been nowhere near good enough.
Four league goals is it? — and two of them penalties — just isn’t the level you expect from your main striker in a title run-in…it’s dire.

If that form carries into next season, we’ll struggle. And based on what we’ve seen so far, Marmoush doesn’t look ready to pick up the slack either as he’s a complete waste of space.

To joke a bit, it is almost poethic he goes out with a squad selection brainfart :D

But piss aside, we need to be true with ourselves and accept we weren’t good enough. And thank fuck is Arsenal and not scouse or the rags.

'4 goals 2 pens. What are you on about.
In the last few weeks he's scored against Bounemouth, Everton,,Burnley and Arsenal from open play plus an assist at Wembley that I can think of.

Just seen the highlights, looked a typical City must win effort ie no effort.
Cherries could have beaten us by 4 but we also fluffed 1 or 2 lines.
Lets be honest it was by chance that Arsenal let us back in this race.
So 3 or 4 years of speculation re Pep's future now ended, Arsenal new winners of PL, which will delight PL.
Verdict on 115 charges now cleared to be published, we will get punished now it wont embarass the PL
Hopefully Maresca being an ex defender will put some steel into this team and simplify the way we play. 2 proper full backs required, midfield to be strengthened and a couple up front to be moved on

Maresca was actually an orchestrator, more of a Dave Silva, KDB type of player.

Had a decent start to the season and recovered a bit at the back end but no doubt that he went through a very long lean spell in Jan, Feb and March.
In my opinion our ponderous attacking style when our wingers don't get the ball across first time or insist on going backwards and then trying to beat a fullback again gives time for defences to reset and mark Haaland out of the game. If a ball does come into the box Haaland is jumping from a static position or receiving it through a crowd of legs. Haaland does much better with early through balls running off a defender and onto the goals. He clearly gets frustrated when he isn't 'seen' by others when he is open, - he was going to batter Cherki in the cup final! All in all Haaland is a bit one dimensional but he is world class in that dimension, we just need to play to his strength if our other players can't find the net. The stats say we get more points when he doesn't play so if we play him we need to use him properly

I agree and I don't think plug and play Maresca is the answer here. We could build a phenomenal team around Cherki and Haaland, but certainly need a different approach.

I'm expecting a Dipper like collapse next season. Pursuing it relentlessly for 4 years will take it out of them. The hunger will drop and hopefully PGMOL will start doing their job at corners. I also doubt we'll be dropping 17 points from winning positions regardless of who our manager is.

Correction -7 goals in 5 months and 2 were penalties - I don't think it was good enough and I still don't think it's good enough.
Whoever is at fault for that, managerial tactical mistakes or his own mistakes, facts are, he didn't score enough since Jan 1st.

By the way - Haaland has not scored at Wembley in his last 8 appearances there. Must win games and he hasn't scored in any of them - just spewing out some facts and then it goes back to whose fault is that then? Managers tactics or he just played shit in them games?

As for Alvarez who was on 80 k a week and was replaced with Marmoush on 300 k a week and whom you rated / rate highly....I think every other City fan on planet earth would swap them back.

Didn't see anyone mention it yet on here but in addition to only adding on 24 seconds in stoppage time, was bizarre for the linesman to immediately raise his flag here when Erling looked clearly onside. Yet play was allowed to continue for another minute and Guehi almost got injured when Bournemouth was clearly off
