Wishful thinking but wouldn't it be hilarious.

We need something fresh. Bringing in Maresca won't do that - the same old backwards and sideways. Get someone with fresh ideas

That interview gave me a small glimmer of hope that it's all bollox. He stuck to his usual party line about having another year and discussing his future with the chairman and his family after the season like he always does.

But if he stays how do we avoid having many more games like tonight?

Where is nico G?

That interview led me to believe he is going and there is no doubt about it.
Ha said he was going to talk to the chairman next week, if thats true then no send off for him at the game Sunday.
It doesn't add up, he might as well just come out and say it, would be better now if he did.

Oh good. Seen nothing off it. Needed much more game time since he was unfairly dropped.

I think pep is going too, maybe he doesn't want a send off / affect the game on sunday. I think its time.

I can live with Pep leaving, everything has to come to an end at some point. Bringing in the bald Italian is a backward step. Its like bringing Temu Pep. Vinny or Enrique for me, dont mind the Bournemouth manager as a third choice.

We should do everything we can to entice Enrique, a serial winner that will take us to next level

Enrique is my preference as well but according to PSG they are confident he is signing an extension.

The missus made a good point, we were preparing for Pep from the moment Pellers was hired and he was holding the seat warm until the right choice became available. Maresca could be the same placeholder choice waiting on Vinny.

Maresca signed with Mendes in October last year and apparently it's him that's leaking all this to push City's hand .

As much as I want to stick it to those cunts, I think one more year is a terrible decision.

He doesn't need to prove a point and the club should step in if this is the case.

Who the fuck knows what to believe now, I've read some utter shite over the past few days. Actually sick of all this messing now. The club needs to come out and sort this now.

As Notts posted elsewhere, the new stand test is being done. I have watched the development on you tube on a regular basis.

New hotel , increased capacity. Inspite of winning two cups and being a positive season . Someone like Maresca certainly would not impress any extra fans to be drawn to the stadium. Perhaps Pep knows this and an improved offer might come in ? Although i doubt it.

Something needs to happen to get the extra 6000 bums on seats.

The team since January have easily been the best in the country, but still display inconsistency. If Pep stays next year even with no additions this squad wins the league at a canter.

Agreed. No way Maresca pulls those extra fans in. We live in hope.
