He will bring some fucking balls in the middle, something we have been lacking since Fern.

Got more goals than any of our midfielders last season. I'm in

Anyone seen him play?

He looked like the best player on the pitch for large parts of the France - Morocco game and had an excellent world cup. Incredible under pressure with cleaver touches and very good athletisim. Also seems incredibly mature on the field for his age. Would be a fantastic purchase ino

Shea Charles looks set to leave Southampton for £30+M

I imagine we’d have had a sell on clause of at least 10% if not 15%. Another bucket of change to help fill the coffers. It all adds up

Some odd transfer window so far.
Still time, sure, but was expecting more for Maresca to have at his disposal since we are going to start the league soon.

What terrifies me is that Savinho is still here and it seems all went quiet.

Good move for him in a team that will play decent football and be challenging for promorion.

Doubt there will be a shortage of takers. Surprised by this one. Enzo must have have told him he didn't figure in his plans. Made a profit on the sale as well so a good deal all round. Looks like we will have someone else through the door as a result or maybe this allows O'Reilly to move forward?

Rodri staying for the season I have seen online gossip about - no one matching our value so he has agreed to stay and see out his contract

Assuming this is the case, fucking big of him. Leaves us with a situation where we have a player who will be next to no use with an eye on his summer move.
Still, it's that or lower the asking price which I wouldn't entertain for those Catalan twats.

Can't see that being the case mate, if he's shit for a season there's no guarantees they'd want him or certainly not at the wages he could command now.
If fit i can see him having a great season then when he fucks off we'll have had his best years.

He'll want the Ballon D'Or again. He won't be having a holiday again this season.

You both have more faith than me. His wages become less of an issue if it is to be Farca as they will have had another 12 months to ply their dark arts wheeling and dealing added to already not having to find a transfer fee. Balon D'Or, he has won all there is to win, I don't see him pulling out all the stops for us again in a league that could ruin his return back home. Prove me wrong Rodders, I would love you to go out on a high, I just don't see it.

I don't think as fans we can just assume to know the mind of Rodri. He's just flown RyanAir back into Liverpool after having back surgery and was refusing autographs and selfies with kids. 3 years ago would we have said he'd be the type of player to basically have a year holiday whilst saving himself for the world cup? Definitely not.

People change.

So 5pm has been and gone without any bid at all for Fernandez yet reported

No surprises there

I wonder, did anyone at Sky et all, actually believe the shite they were broadcasting?

Reports now Rodri has told the club he wants to move to Barca. If they don't pay up, tell them and him he's staying

Fernandez or not, we need at least one world-class player in the middle.
We are not contenders in Europe at the moment with this squad as much as we hope. What cost us the league last year was not having legs in the middle and to be honest, I am not that confident with what we have at the moment.

I think this obsession we have with being profitable is costing us. I understand those fuckers are out to get us, but since Haaland we haven't done a proper top, top transfer.
