Very similar to what we are used to. Loads of possession, dominate the game but not creating much. Usual breakaway goal, shocking marking.

We just kept pressing and pressing, brought on the man who can unlock doors, Cherki, and then a certain inevitability.

We didn’t play bad, as in Rags bad, but various individual errors in striking, passing and defending! :D

Enzo subs were good? Ay? Apart from cherki who stevie wonder would bring on. He takes nico off who was our only decent player along with guehi.

Everyone hates lewis - yet dias gets a free ride when its broken up our solid back 4

I'm not going to change my mind on Lewis and Foden now they'll never change the game and just making up the numbers, feel a bit for Phil saying this but it's what I see and my opinion about his massive drop in form and attitude, we should have tried to offload him.

Scraped a win today and I times I was as frustrated as I was with Peps monotone pass pass pass philosophy, I hope Maresca changes from this style it dour and sends fans to sleep fast.

Foden is a weird one. Should we loan him to vinnie at bayern? Out of options.

Dont know his best position. Out of form for years.

My mate went over to Korea for the pre season game and he said foden was the only one that had a massive entourage etc

Early days in the season, but at this stage, a loan probably wouldn't be the worst thing for him, get him out of the spotlight, also potentially away from any local issues that are proving a distraction, playing a different style.

If he's just making up the numbers currently, it could be a masterstroke - even if not now, if he's not back at it by January, he's definitely got to get a change of scene to try and get some joy back in his game, even if its to an inferior club where he can bully games and get that feeling back.

I think we realise how good some players are when they're missing, .Nunes is a perfect example. Missed him like mad last week and the 1st hour yesterday, fantastic when he came on.
I felt sorry for Rico, he's never a right back but he's a nice ball playing midfielder. Very unlucky not to score in the 1st minute but switches off at the back as per the goal. Having said that none of the other 3 defenders covered themselves in glory for that.
Guehi was superb as was Cherki when he came on. Dias is a total liability at the minute. Passing to them with no pressure on. Wish I knew we were well onside for the goal at the time, I was convinced he was off at the time but what a relief after being cheated by that ref all game. For him to put only 3 mins up then have to overturn that was poetic justice.

I still don’t understand why he put Grealish on , what was the point ?
Him still being here is an eyebrow raiser as he offers nothing and didn’t offer anything to Everton barring one or 2 good games.

Grealish came on and drove forward, kept the ball allowing Cherki more space to attack, dragged two players over to mark him.

Plus he's bloody gorgeous and with some of the ugly players we have we need to balance it out a bit

Rico wasn’t getting games at Fulham there is no way he should be starting for a title challenger, he’s not at the required level and is too small, he might have more success in Germany or Italy
I agree that Jack came on and gave us a bit more, he was tightly marked which gave freedom to others for the goals imo

I don't think any bloke is gorgeous, but that's just me
