Disagree. Nico was just hitting the ground. Settled. Young. Etc etc

Who tf are we replacing him with?

Boodiddy is a kid. Anderson isnt the same player (and done nothing so far) and enzo is also a different player and expensive cunt

Looking back over this time here think this is the best for both parties. He had 3 good months over 1.5 years here. Sometimes looked promising, but also was much slower than who we'd ideally want in that position, made quite a few dumb/late tackles and got caught in possession at bad times (usually because he was too slow). Scored a few goals but his overall shooting ability was also not where it should be.

Wish him the best of luck unless we are playing them

He was taken out for Rodri to play and we started dropping points last season.

I don't disagree with that but also think that he has fallen into the space where supporters over estimate him because he doesn't play. And I would be more disappointed as well if he wasn't as immobile off the ball as Javi Garcia.

Looking at his career: didn't work out a Barca, thrived at Porto, not favored by 2 different City managers, and has never played for the senior Spanish national team. I think he could work out really well for Newcastle if they pair him with a faster CM, otherwise he's going to get overrun.

And we have someone coming in to replace him who is 6 years younger, a lot more mobile, and was one of the best players at the last world cup.

Is £50M for Nico G rather cheap? Newcastle are flush with cash and desperately need a midfielder.

I’d have thought £60-65M would be nearer the mark

Let's ignore that and instead carry on celebrating that we sold a dummy for 85 million.

Crikey, all happening. Beeb reporting both the deals for Nico.G and Marmoush. Worringly, the rumours about the Argie twat from Chelski persist.

I'd have him back tomorrow. He knows there is no chance Athleti will sell him to Farca.
We should be able to sort that family visa out as well.....

Stupot thinks he's shit so maybe we shouldn't go for him.

Apparently City have allegedly contacted Liverpool striker Cody Gakpo representative today.

I'd rather go for the kid at PSG who they want to replace him with. Gakpo scores his fair share but he is not the answer.

A 6/10 or 7/10 player when we need an 8/10 or 9/10 player
