Palace might go down but we look like a really good team. More exciting going forward than we have been for a long time. Plenty to be optimistic about for the season today

Phil been much better this half.

Fair play when needed, Foden took his head out of his arse in the second half.
Hope he continues.

He played really well second half.

Not sure what Maresca said to him at half time, but it worked.

Great result. Did not see that coming. Anderson is a tidy player. Nice to see the kids get a run out once the game was won. Looking forward to seeing Anderson and Bou together.

Foden on the right: Cuts inside and passes back or just passes back.
Foden central: Goes past players and moves forward.

Completely different player.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Well, after my initial concerns we came good, excellent performance second half. Foden is definitely not a right winger and he expressed himself in the second half, two assists, well done lad. Onwards and upwards, Coventry next, more of the same please.

Bouadi looked class by the way, I have very high hopes for him.

Fast, fluid and exciting. Better start to the season than I expected.

Reminded me of the 2018 season under Pep. Actually exciting attacking play and incredibly refreshing to see

Mitchell had Foden for pace, so attacking the outside was not an option, he had to cut inside and the problem was Kush has obviously been told he is our back up pacey player to get us out of the shit when we are caught on the break. So Foden never had back up or an outlet on the overlap. I thought Foden had a pretty good game, apart from this appalling finishing

Didn't see the full game, just second half bits. Was the Ref bad again as i am hearing from others ?

Proper buzzing with that performance.

Still a bit frail at the back and that bench scared me big time, but we played some bloody good stuff and gave several debuts. Palace away is not always a gimme either.

Haaland and Foden cannot afford to have rough patches right now, so seeing both and Cherki on the stat sheet was perfect.
Tracking back is overrated.

Three Palace players could've been carded for simulation, result was all calls against us and one yellow card.

I said to the missus at the half, I hope he watches some of his terrible decisions and does better in the second half, he did not.

Ansy Madley. Seemed to have a dislike for Anderson in particular in the firat half. Let a couple of challenges go on him then went for his yellow at first opportunity for Anderson.
