In the short term I'll be happy to see him on the right but i like pacy wingers and NDiaye I'm really excited to see him play. And I can't see anywhere else for Cherki to go with the other guys costing so much. They'll all get a decent amount of game time I'm sure. Nice to have plenty of depth.

Now Doku is back, against the better teams, Cherki and Enzo cannot start together as they don't do enough defensively. Cherki becomes an impact sub. Semenyo needs to continue weighing in or he will get replaced by Ndiaye. It's a nice problem to have and should enable us to freshen things up at 60+ minutes.

Cherki’s not inconsistent IMO and considering he doesn't start every game but when he's on the pitch, he's been instrumental in so much of the play.
This season alone he's scored 3 goals and 2 assists. That’s a goal involvement in 3 of the 5 wins. Came off the bench vs Bournemouth and set up both late goals in a 2-1 win. Scored twice at Palace in a 4-1. Scored the goal that put City back in front vs Sunderland in a 5-3. He also got a goal in the 5-0 cup win over Norwich.
He’s producing in the games that matter IMO.

I think you are right and your opinion here might be the most popular.
But, in my personal and modest opinion, the set up with Enzo would result more effective and solid.
I'd take Cherky as the Rolls Royce of impact players, to come up almost every game around at 60'. As well as a luxury rotation for any of the 3 behind Haaland

Not saying that you are wrong, here but I wouldn't be that bluntly negative.
When you join a world leading club you must be prepared to not being a guaranteed starter and be committed to rotation. Unless you are an established superstar like Haaland and few others.
Moreso if you are a young guy still on development curve.
Also, I think you should give his character more credit, than assume him a cunt of Bellingham grade.
