Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

his exact words were:
"The fact they have done this (transfer spend) against the background of the 115 Premier League charges is extraordinary and makes a mockery of regulation in England's top division, supposedly the best-run league in the world.
He's criticising the PL and no-one else.
He also said
"Why the league decided to prosecute all 115 alleged offences is a mystery to me. Surely common sense (often in short supply) would point to simplifying the process by taking a handful of the bigger, clearer issues and pursuing these as specimen cases.
"Justice delayed is justice denied, and the longer this process is drawn out, the more the resulting implications and challenges are compounded."
He's basically saying the PL have gone for the sensational, rather than practical approach, and now seem to have bitten off more than they can chew, and that City spending is making the PL look ridiculous.
Nowhere does he suggest City shouldn't be free to spend money however they like (within PL regulations of course) while the case is unresolved.
Basically, like everyone else, he's just saying the length of time is unacceptable.
I read the dialogue of this Talkshite piece yesterday. Agree that he is having a pop at the PL in the main. I'm surprised more is not being made of it bearing in mind who is next up for us but it is only Thursday.
Oh, the usual rash of articles and opinions on 115 are flooding social media as we speak.
I only use LinkedIn thankfully. Have they asked that quinten fortune and louus saha for their opinions yet - they're usually wheeled out for the derby - cannot wait for that.

No, but we've had this
MARESCA VS HAALAND?
LOCKER-ROOM POWER STRUGGLE?
WHO REALLY RUNS THE ETIHAD?

Indeed. I think it was Hants(?) who said that after our perfect start, the press expecting the post Pep collapse would be foaming at the mouths and looking for any and all agendas.
We all have long since learned to ignore the noise and crack on. It is amusing to see what they dream up though.
Maresca and the club bit back on Tuesday post match. I think that is a big difference - perhaps Pep was less inclined but I'm all for calling these goons out.

Silvestre is another one. Or Sylvester, whatever the fuck he's called. I remember him saying that City wouldn't be in the top 4. I think that year we got 100 points and won, of course.

Deleted Facebook years ago, never regretted it, what a useless clickbait ad-driven platform that was. Twitter on the other hand is comedy gold, its like shooting fish in a barrel.

I see Rodri has issued an apology after being caught by the lip reading police on camera during the game at Valencia. Being a twat must be in the Farca DNA & he's quickly gotten the hang of it.

to be fair he probably is in shock at how poor some of the teams in la liga are compared to the PL

Soccer Saturday wondering how the 'chasing pack' are going to catch Arsenal . I had to check my App, and I know it's early, but we seem to be top to me!

She has got the bit between her teeth, no doubt. Obviously being fed the line through her earpiece.

How high pitched was Neville's whiny voice though. His head proper went.

Funny as I don’t recall any sort of furore when Fernandes scored the goal at the swamp when Gashford was well offside. The narrative then was very much “ah because Gashford didn’t touch it then it’s a perfectly legitimate goal”
If any neutral observer was unsure of where the loyalties of our main football broadcasters lie, they shouldn’t be unsure now.
Fuck em all

There wasn't this amount of fuss when spuds had that goal disallowed against rags that went a yard over the line.
I'm not surprised about the BBC, they've spent the last 10 years.trying to make the rags relevant, but I am surprised about Sky.

I'm not. Tyler screaming at the top of his voice 'and Rooney's scored'. Yet when we won 3 nil at the Old Toilet, with a goal of about 30 moves straight from the kick off, can't remember if it was Nasri or Dzeko who scored, lets say Nasri - there was the lowest key possible, funereal 'and Nasri scores'.
Cunts the lot of them

+1.
I will never forget 11/12, our first defeat of the season, 2-1 away at Chelsea after we were 1 up and had a dodgy decision against us, Wilkins, who commentated that game said: ”A win for the league”.
So yeah, cunts.
