Great second half , just a shame so many chances could not be converted.

There was a lot of passing back tonight, were you nipping to the kitchen to get a beer ? There was also a lot of side to side, just like on Sunday and all last season . It's what needs to be done to breakdown the opposition.

Maresca will have learned a lot more about his players tonight. And about his best 11.
I don't like singling out any player when we lose but its obvious Semenyo is not good enough at this level. He's grand against mid table teams, but not against teams of this calibre.

Football won tonight. From both sides.

I'll email all the tabloids, shall I?

and can you ask Dan Roan and McNulty if they do requests ? and if so, tell them to F**k Off.

He took his Captain off at Half time. IF he doesn't learn from that , it will be a difficult winter for City.

City need to hammer Ipswich on Saturday. and get ready for next Tuesday's CL gam.

Must be the context, but I am not at all upset of the score, even at 1-4.

I think this might be the new feeling when we lose and it is not against the cartel.

Haaland said impossible on camera in the huddle. Yes he put a shift second half but if hes saying that its impossible to come back, as a captain thats stood up front and missing his only chances someone needs to give him a bollocking.

That was a great game. Not too upset at all, psg excellent first half, 2nd half we were sensational. Weird thoroughly enjoying a game and getting beat. Penalty decision was a joke.

That sounds extremely unlike him. There are dozens of things he could have said using the word impossible that are not saying it's impossible for City to come back overall. Are you sure that's what he was referring to?

Impossible.. if we keep missing out chances
Impossible.. if we keep fucking up at the back
Impossible.. for the ref to make that call
Impossible.. for you to not see me make that run
Impossible.. for anyone to not give 100% to the end
etc etc

Fair. Dont want a defeatest attitude wearing the armband when we proved we could have won. He played much better second half tbf. I thought his performance was similar to old trafford. Lazy and walking first half. Shift second half. He needed to do better with at least 2 of his chances.

On a serious, final note.
Imho the only serious issue that Maresca has to fix urgently is the recurring lethargic start that seems a constant so far. I wouldn't say lazy, because all the players have proven not to be so.
But it need to be fixed.
The needed adjustments to the starting line-up shall come naturally as the season progresses. Maresca has proved himself smart.

He was probably saying it's not impossible.

We saw what the level needed to be in the first half and some were found wanting. Credit to Enzo for changing it at HT and we looked completely at it. Missed some great chances and could have turned it around. Donna had a shocker thought he was at fault for the first and the last but he's going nowhere. Big plus seeing Bouaddi not looking out of place against their midfield. Not overly disappointed the boss will have learnt a few things from that as well.
