Keown who is one of our biggest haters and went berserk the other week on TNT when Joe Cole was saying you couldn't take the trophies off us has said on TS today he's heard strong rumours that it will be over in a few weeks and we're getting a fine and nothing else.
Hysterical if true.

Anything less than a full acquittal and we'll be cheaters forever. What would the point of that be? If we are going to go down i want to go down fighting and end up right at the bottom

Agreed.
Let's also not forget the option was already put on the table by PL before the Kangaroo panel verdict.
Would be extremely, extremely surprising if Khaldoon won't go all the way through the High Court all guns blazing.
Taking on bord super silk Mark Howard, KC is very telling, isn't it?

Depends- if the fine is purely for non co-operation that's very different to previously.

You are not wrong, but I stand by the point made by Scatman.
The red media would be twisting anything less than a full acquittal, as they have done with UEFA ban appeal at CAS. And even so, they will probably be raving about the bags of money spent with top lawyers to buy the acquittal.

The red media would twist a full acquittal, we all know that so fuck them. The boiling piss from everyone if there's no points deduction, no transfer ban, no sanctions would be absolutely perfect.

I'm not that interested in the red media or the people who believe everything they are told by them. What I am interested in is being able to believe what I am told by the people that run my club, that we won those trophies fairly and being able to hold my head up high despite what is thrown at us. I want to bring my kids up supporting a club that I trust. If they take a fine now, or any kind of punishment after everything they have said, that would look like an admission of guilt. It's all or nothing.

We had the European ban overturned yet were still fined for non co-operation. Did that bother you, certainly didn't bother me. I was just glad we went on to win it.

The clubs name has been dragged through the mud. If we're massively guilty why would they just give us a fine? If they do, we should fight it all the way. Just destroy the Prem.

Non cooperation is fine but there we took them on and won. If we are innocent then we must take them on again.

With the utmost respect, I think you are being exaggerated here, mate. I understand that you're aiming to give your kids the most respectable example, and that epitomizes the English culture I used to know and learnt to admire ages ago.
But, even IF (and that's a gigantic if) City directors had done everything they are accused of they would had done nothing but circumvent the most shameful, blatantly bent regulations in the history of Trade law.
Nothing City have achieved on the pitch could be remotely be discussed by any fair minded person or entity.
You could still hold your head up and make your kids proud of the great Club you've been loving for a life.
IMHO.
Once said that, as forever, I once again echo what most said above, we must show no mercy, take PL to the sword in the High Court in order to have the Club and Officials name completely vindicated.

Mate, aside everything I have been shouting since this shite was dropped, you know better than me than the whole thing is plainly absurd.
The alleged figures are ABSURD, if City had inflated the revenue by 900 millions, it would mean they would have had roughly the revenue of a Championship club. Which evidently doesn't add up.
