Maybe it's the smug, crustaceous pundits, and the smarmy Gary Lineker; perhaps it's the format of having five minutes of highlights followed by ten minutes of self-serving droning; or could it be the overall vibe which makes you think you are watching some creaky old show from twenty or more years ago? Whatever, as far as I'm concerned, MotD now serves only as a curio, something to watch out of a strange fascination to see just how drab they can make some really exciting football appear. I think it might be time to re-subscribe to Sky.

Well there was one positive thing with motd yesterday. And that was watching lawros face when he had to admit that manchester city is in pole position for that fourth spot.

Said grudgingly, of course!

I wonder where "City fan" Lee Dixon was? The Emirates, is my guess.

A very good point. I have just watched the repeat and couldn't believe how fuclin miserable the presenters all are. It's as though they don't like the game and really would rather be somewhere else doing something different!

Did'nt want to start a new thread so will put this in here, Was at a fishing match in Essex today , and overheard a conversation from two blokes who I presumed were spuds fans, They were commenting on our game at Burnley on Saturday, one of them said any team could of gone there and do what City did, and the other bloke agreed with him. I didnt say anything just chuckled to myself then put on my City Baseball cap in front of the two numptys and walked away.

Not since the 1980s mate.

Stop the licence fee, fuck the BBC off, fuck MOTD off and fuck Linneker, Hanson and Lawrenson off with it!

We win 5-1 so we have blackburn-scums scintillating 0-0 draw on as the main match. Twats.

It was funny though......
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
