Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Spurs:
Scum (A) Lose Nil points
Bolton (H) Win 3 Points
City (A) Lose 0 Points
Burnley (A) Win 3 Points
Total: 70 Points
CITY:
Arsenal (A) Draw 1 Point
Villa (H) Win 3 Points
Spurs (H) Win 3 Points
WHU (A) Win 3 Points
Total: 72 Points
Even if Spurs manage a point against the scum and we lose to Arsenal i still reckon we'll sneak 4th on goal difference because we should slip a few past West Ham on the last day, Walmai might disagree but who gives a shit.

There's absolutely no reason why we can't get that return and I've a feeling we'll be pleasantly suprised on Sat evening.

I think this is most likely gonna happen though I did say it would likely be decided at the spurs game so maybe not lol

I'm doing everything to convince myself we can do it. I'm trying so hard to believe. I've nearly convinced my self that both us and Spurs will get into the top four at the expense of Arsenal.

IMO Unfortunately both teams will pick up 8 points max. Thats IF we beat West Ham on the last day. We really did fuck it up against the rags.

and if Spuds can beat Chelsea, Arsenal and Scum in the run in then hats off to them they deserve fourth and will prolly beat us too.
Let's hope its our turn to turn over the Arse, and rags do to them what they did to us.

If next round turns out as uggly as this weekend we might be struggling for 4th.
Spurs could be 5 pts clear and Villa 2 pts ahead of us ,Pool even on points with us 62.
We can't have two such weekends in a row.
Hopefully we're 1 point ahead of Spurs with 65 and Villa have dropped points at both Hull and in their derby.
Dippers will prob have 62 though with an extra game played.
It's a tence part of the season.

The way I see it is it's a straight fight between us and Spuds. Spuds are already on 64 and can see them beating notlob an Burnley ie min 70 points. Scousers can get max of 68 and Villa max of 70 and I really can't see them catching up the goal difference. 5th May will decide it. EEEK.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

im finding it really difficult to assume anything about this run in tbh.
The title looks like it is still right up in the air, and at this rate 3rd and 4th are also.
If you look at the possibilities Arsenal could yet finish 5th with both Spurs and City in 3rd and 4th.
what if Spurs hold rags to a draw ?
everything is so close with so many permutations. Arsenal have to travel to Blackburn and even with a full strength team they would not be looking forward to that.
There is everything to play for and it is going to be one hell of a nail biting time ahead

I think we'll lose in Emirates but otherwise I reckon you got it pretty much spot on.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I am now retired from the predictions business after my whole world was turned upside down in the last week. Who can tell? Just want all this to be over asap, with us in 4th.

That's pretty much what I've been thinking all along. I didn't expect them to get results they have been getting but run in like that then fair play, they got it on merit. Can't really argue with that.

I'm fairly surprised to see people giving us six points on Villa AND Spuds. I really can't see us winning both of them. Probably four points.

I think that 6pts in those 2 games is the minimum requirement...failure to do so means we don't get 4th...it is as simple as that.
Bingo is pretty spot on with what I wouls suggest...except I am hoping for a point at least at the Emirates.
