Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

We've got a special one on our hands here.
The composure he displayed for the second goal was superb. Most players would have just drilled th eball across goal and hoped for the best.
Instead he steadied himself and waited for the right pass.
His ability on the ball is superb and he terrifies full backs with his quick fet and pace.
To think there were folk saying that we shouldn't be signing shit Championship players.....

Stunning talent. Once he gets his fitness up to top level, he will be unbeatable.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

You almost forget how young he is when his play is so mature and thought out. Really do have someone special here, hope he retires wearing a City shirt.

I can't wait to see what he does next season when he's had a full preseason of working on his fitness. AJ on a full tank is frightening.

Great to see him up against the man who kept him off the pitch at his old club today and you could see who was the better player now. Amazing what the lad brings to the game and got us the 3 points today for me.

He was the difference today...I reckon he gets grilled on not trying to use "all his talent" but to keep it simple !!This guy has a bag of tricks in his armoury and hasnt even showed us a large % of it up to now.
He looks up and doesnt panic...thats the difference with players like him....I love watching him.
Apart from Tevez this guy is the buy of the season and will be a city player for a long time to come.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

he's still very raw, although he could prove a very good 'impact sub' in the World Cup for England.
But not yet the finished product.
And needs to work hard on his fitness, a la Ireland, in the off-season, because he fades far too quickly for a young lad

Fantastic player and him and Tevez are starting to develop a really good understnding together. Bags of skill, pace and has a final ball. Perfect winger.
Just needs to work in his fitness, be more affective defensively and maybe bulk up a little bit 9not as much as Richards!).

That.
Arguably the best city signing for years.

I have to disagree. It's actually suprising how finished he is. Don't need much adding to his game. Quite unusual for kid his age. Only fitness and that's it.

If it's true that Marwood pursued the deal relentlessly and made sure we got him for a bargain 6 mill then massive respect to him.

I thought he might have been dopped today. I'm glad he wasn't though, he was excellent and I agree that he made the difference.
