He's a confidence player, you can see it in the interviews - if he gets some stick from his home fans it's enough to affect his performances.

He had a horrible start in England, though, so he deserved quite a lot of abuse. He was tops in Holland though and has been class this season as well, so I gather that the bad patch was just a slump of form.
