yep.I know it must be hard you lads from aus to read things with much concentration what with dingos nipping off with your young'uns but I never actually said he was not good enough for our first team.said he needs a kick in arse and from what hes doing now he should be out..but Adebayor from early on is one of best strikers in league but not showing it.What i was saying was great player but has been lazy and from that needs to stand back and take a look at himself and for his own benefit maybe he needs to drop away from ambitious teams and learn to fight again like Anelka did when at us and Bolton.you started by saying I was blaming him for tonight and now your just talking bollocks looking for any excuse to start something thats not there.

Not trying to fuel a fire here.
Like the others i disagree, you're welcome to your opinion mate, just like us.
I also hope you aren't trying to say that us fans overseas are less dedicated and aren't entitled to their opinions. Pretty poor and generalised if so.

The problem with ade is when he's on the pitch our best player TEVEZ, who is a striker, drops back and spends the whole game on our half way line. Ade is a good striker he's missed 17 games and still managed to bag 14 this season but i'd rather get rid of him and see tevez staying up smashing in hat tricks

first half of the season ade was the main man and tevez ran around like a headless chicken, ade fucks off and tevez scores a bucket load of goals, ade comes back and tevez is back to running around in midfield. If this is what mancini has told him to do, italians and there big spastic strikers/amazing long ball tactic, then its his fault and not ade's and in that case he can go instead.

I noticed the other day that no Arsenal player has more goals than Adebayor this season, despite his lay-offs.

And Ashton - I reckon Tevez was told to play deeper in the last 2 matches to cover for our lack of midfield options.

does it matter to you or do you just not give a bollock at the end of the game.who do you think has not been pulling their weight or do you have an opinion at all after a game or season or is it a hobby

Of course it matters. Why the fuck would I get up at 5am if it didn't matter? Why the fuck would I come around the world to follow the team religiously for two weeks if it didn't matter?

I just think it's stupid and plain idiotic to blame a striker who got nowhere near the ball for our loss. His job was to lead the line and apart from drifting out wide too often he did a reasonable job. We didn't score because we cross the ball with 2 targets. We didn't take the ball into the box as often as we should have. We didn't shoot from outside the box enough. We didn't pose them enough questions in defence. Our midfield didn't split the defence with their passing.

But no, just blame Adebayor.

here here. His style and manner on the pitch make him seem lazy, but I reckon that if you studied his stats you'll see that he puts in a far shift. My only gripe is that he jumps for headers about 10 seconds to early so always gets beat in the air...

Couple of very good points there and i fully agree.

I still dont think Ades over the ANC attack on the bus.Times a healer though.
I rate him highly but we do lack the killer passes from MF to give him more scoring oppertunities.Plus our wide men need to brush up on there crossing as well.

Well I know the OP is a bit of a cunt, but there is no problem with any of our strikers and I'm pretty sure Mancini knows this.

We need a quality central attacking midfielder, be it a revitalised Superman or a new top signing.

At the moment all our link up play has to go through the wings and when we come up against top teams, they concentrate on this and it leaves our strikers having to drop deep and carry the ball to the danger areas, or pass it out wide.

Against top opposition, this tires the strikers and leaves us with little or no options, having to depend on a fuck up.

Adebayor, even more so than Tevez, depends on quality through balls and you've seen what he can do when he gets them.

What we need to do is play a top attacking mid and they, and we, will reap the rewards.

Thanks for highlighting it again mate.
