I have to say I thought he was a bit anonamous and was clearly carrying a bit of a niggle anyway - I'd have played Paddy V from the start, but then, I am a football management God

Also some guy near us was singing a song about him to the tune of Lady Gaga's paperazzi. Quality - but catch all the words. Anyone else heard it?

They were always going to score with a header, that was written before kick off but they took over the midfield & got their passing game going as well when Barry left the field. Barry & DeJong were making 10 yards on Spurs players to get in challenges etc. Very impressed with both of them in that game.

Can it be anymore typical than that?
Gareth Barry will see a specialist on Friday after limping out of the defeat to Spurs.
The England midfielder has sprained his right ankle but the full extent of any damage will not be known until further investigation has taken place.
He will definitely miss the Blues last game of the season at West Ham on Sunday afternoon as will fellow ankle victim Stephen Ireland.
