The big question here is, of course, so fucking what? What does it have to do with Mancini? If you want, you can vent your anger on owners and Khaldoon for sacking Hughes. Although that would be crazy, they were the ones who took the decision. Not Mancini. What did you expect from him? to turn down such super managerial opportunity? And if he had been so valiant, do you think we would be without manager now?
Like I said, you and Grob haven't really thought this through. And that's one of the things that makes me disappointed regarding Grob. I could've never thought he'd take such poorly thoughtout approach on anything. Being the intelligent feller he is.
He WAS on course. We were in 6th place after we beat Sunderland. Besides, Hughes' sides are stronger in the second half of the season. There were lots of new Players who needed time to gel.
Personally, I would've expected to Mancini to only talk to Manchester City once there was a vacancy for Manager. They'd approached him weeks before Hughes went and Hiddink had already turned us down because there was already a Man in the job. It's how most Managers do things. Hughes should've been sacked after the Spurs Match and Brian Kidd placed in charge until Mancini was appointed.
So Grob is "intelligent feller" and I'm not? That's you off my Christmas Card list.
