Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I love the new shirts, but
There are some fans out there walking around looking right tw@ts ,have seen at least a dozen fans in the home shirt with bulging beer guts who look like they have spray on shirts, I don’t know what they think they look like but it is definitely not cool.
The black away shirt is pure class, it looks great on younger fans and Premiership football players who are toned up, again it does nothing for middle-aged over weight supporters, and they look right tits with the clingy look.
I think the new shirts are designed for the younger generation of fan.
So if you’re a bit overweight carrying a bit around the middle give them a miss lads, if your missus says you look good don’t believe her she’s lying.................................

I had noticed that a couple of times with the away shirt, not so much with the home one though ...
But never mind I look fucking HOT in mine and the ladies love me in it (or so my mum told me!)

Supporters can wear what they like as tight as they like or as baggy as they like. As long as they are supporting and generating income for the club then all is good. In fact that goes for all walks of fashion, not just footy shirts.
If it bothers you that much that you needed to come onto the internet (populated by many a large lad) and start a thread then I really don't have any advice for you other than to say you're a bit of a cock. Correction, rather a big cock.

At least you can go to the local sportswear shop: I can't be sure whether I have
the right XL kit until it arrives in the mail thousands of miles away.

I take it you’re a bit on the large side mate?
I am just having a bit of fun mate, I am not taking the piss out of fat people, just commenting on some fans lack of dress sense and pointing out the shirts don’t look equipped for the more proportionate frame

I'm quite slim, so don't have that problem. However, I would love it if the club made cotton replicas of shirts, not just for the larger folk, but also for little kids and those with sensitive skin. When I have kids, I want to get them in a kit asap, but with synthetic fibres, I'd be a bit precautious until they were 4 or 5 with synthetic fibres.

On that note, the inner labels on my kits from last season came off. One due purely to a particularly sweaty day. Took me a while to scrape that silvery rubber off my back.

I stopped buying footy tops for exactly this reason, i'm putting a bit of timber on round the middle and no amount of excercise is shifting it. I realised 2 years ago that i loooked a right tit in a City shirt so i buy the training tops and sweatshirts etc. Everyone to their own though.

My missus bought me an Italian top around 2000 when I'm convinved they were made of spray on latex. I've still got it, mainly as it's virtually brand new. I can only wear it for 10 mins at a time, as I can't hold my breath for any longer.
Hence why I bought the new City shirts in a slightly more baggy size
