Anyone expcting city to instantly dismiss it like usual / villa to reject it fairly swiftly.
Or if it's like the Barry deal, to be done and dusted by tomorrow tea time.
True. The barry one didnt get out until we'd signed him though?
Plus I think that spursmad on bluemoon called it a week before and there was absolutely nothing of it in the press and i was shocked when we got him.
By the way to his critics, city finished above Pool !

Didn't they arrive there today?

Where does Milner normally play? He just seems to float for Villa.
A Johnson - Barry - M Johnson - Milner
Tevez + 1
looks kind of interesting though

I think they're back next week for the Mecico game. Possibly allowed to do deals until they re-group for SA, I reckon. I'm sure Fabio will help his old mucka out.

I think it's Wednesday, i heard Joe Cole say on a interview that he was going to be with England from Wednesday so im sure it's the same for the rest of the squad.

Cynical Manxie! End of the Gerrard deal or are we beating the grass to startle the snakes.
Before anyone mentions riddles, it was a line from "The Rising Sun" with Sean Connery.
Although in fairness, it was "beat the graaashh tu shhhtartle the shhhhnakkessssh"

Beefy could be right as the Chelsea players got extra time because of the cup final.

Shaun i dont think the Gerrard was ever on he wants CL and the only place he is going is the Santiago Bernabeu.

We live in hope Giles! I think his move will only be confirmed once Mourinho is confirmed next week.
But will he be happy there?

He can't be any slower than the ones who've played there most of the year. Hopefully MJ has had his series of injuries in the way that Gerrard did as a kid. We certainly missed that type of player over the last two seasons.

hope Villa accept this and the deal comes off, i have a lot of time for Milner.. he is one of those players who keeps on and on having a go at the opposition. Would be a good addition to the squad and he looks like one of those players who keeps on improving as he gets older
