Any spanish based blues???

Postby Lee_Kinda » Thu Sep 10, 2009 3:50 pm

Ola from Spain.

Need to find out if the Arse game is on any spannish networks at all? The guy in the pub will show it if I can find a channel.

He has Sky but I dont think it is on there being a 3pm kick off, but he also has all the spannish channels but I cant find a schedule, and tbh dont even know what I am looking for.

Any help greatly appreciated!!!

Yes it´s on Gol TV and/or TVE 2 channel - most bars should have Gol tv subscribed to by now

La 2 have us listed as playing spuds so I think that might be a mistake as I think its them who are playing spuds.
I normally watch us on liveonline(thanks Vhero) so if you have access to a computer that might be the way(try and find an internet cafe).I've got Gol till end of month so if the bar you are going to have that it might be worth a try but I'm not sure. They showed Hull vs Wolves a couple of weeks ago dont know if they are showing us this week.

Not yet mate, not yet, one day soon hopefully. Speak Spanish though and trawl through their news sites when we're mentioned.

By the way Lee that'll be 'Hola', not 'Ola', although the pronunciation is right (H is nearly always silent).

It is not on Sky in Spain at all mate, but should be shown in bars around the Costa del Sol or any other tourist places on a channel called "Show Sports", it is a Iraqi station and shows all prem matches, all you have to do is ask.

I´m on the east side of majorca near porto colom, not very touristy but have a few bars with football on.

Will walk round later asking about showsports as I have just checked and they have it on. None of the other channels listed above seem to have it on......GRRR dont these people know that this is a big game, bigger than spuds vs them!

Ignore Gol tv website listings , in Spain it will be different. I think it will be on Gol tv coz I´m sure I saw it advertised - TVE have had their chips pissed on by Gol so they haven´t announced the game tomorrow coz they will possibly show THE SAME game as Gol,which is what they did 2 weeks ago with Chelski - Burnley - in this way they hit Gols audience purely out of spite. TVE do though tend to show Rafapool for obvious reasons so they might go for that game which is at the same time as ours. Most bars in tourist areas show all the games on different TV´s so the chances are you´ll be able to see both games at 4pm local time
