Have to agree. You were outstanding today!
Lots of grit, but also plenty of finesse. Great set up for Shaun.

His best game for us so far, especially in his defensive work, though he is clearly working hard in all areas of the field. He is making a very useful contribution indeed.

I would be interested to know how much ground he covered today, seemed to be running like a diesel engine all the length of the left side. Bridge looks more assured with him ahead as well....I think Robbie may at least find himself in competition for the spot now, hopefully it will spur him on.

For all the vitriol thrown his way when he signed, he's been excellent ever since he first pulled on a City shirt.
Today he was at his best and when he plays like this he's magnificent.
Bellemy is a fantastic player. A nutcase but a fantastic player.
One of Hughes's best signings and he looks well worth that 12 million quid.

I have a feeling he just earned a start against the RAGs with his performance today.

Ireland was in pain when he went off. Perhaps still suffering from Michael Brown's stamp?
Barring injury I think it is guaranteed that SWP will start against the filth.
It is going to be hard to change that team.

I don't think it's been addressed enough, since we get slagged in the press so much.
But considering RSC, Tevez, and Robinho are going to be useless to us for a while
(in varying degrees), we have to give Hughes credit for seeing value in Bellamy.
God knows West Ham didn't show any love!!

Wasn't RSC due to return for the derby? Cannot wait to see a 4-4-2 with RSC/Ade up front. It'd be like having a talented version of the Corradi/Samaras fiasco.

Agreed. After Drogba they are the best 2 target men in the league whilst both having enough attributional differentiation (did you like that?) to function as a combintion.
The options we have upfront in the squad now is frightening. Though strangly i do miss Vassell

He was absolutely brilliant today.
Some serious words must have been eaten since we signed him... you know who you are ;)

Still think he was overpriced for a 30yo with dodgy knees.
I guess it's all comparative now, with the money we have been throwing around who knows what he would have cost this last window.
