He's a cross. Same ilk as De Jong really. Only good at one thing.
If we sign another couple of players to compliment these 2, say, one who can only score, one who is just fast, one who just does tricks, and one with a good header, and morph them all together, then we'll have one complete footballer at a cost of £150m.
Mint.
Milner proved he cannot beat a man at the world cup, he was tosh. I've never been impressed with him at Villa either. I'm all for signing young English talent, and I'd have Milner at £15m (only coz Villa payed £12m), but anything more than that and I'll be fucking fuming. He'll be as big a let down as Jo at that price. Its fucking £2.5m off the British Transfer Record. Rediculous!!!!!
i guess then you dont rate him. i wouldn't try to change your opinion, but i will ask, what english player playing that kind of role would be as good or better. Also how did you rate Lampard at the same age Milner is now. Im saying that cos i rekon Lampard would have demaded a high price at the time. He moved to Chelsea in 2001 for 11 mil age 22.

I'd look elsewhere. End of. Milner isn't a £30m pound player. As I said, Robbie is the record, world class talent, Milner isn't worth just £2m less than the world renowned Robinho, he's just an average premier league player.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has slapped an £18.7million price tag on reported Manchester City and Real Madrid target Aleksandar Kolarov.
The Serbia international is under contract at the Rome outfit until June 2011 but has attracted interest from Europe's biggest clubs after turning in strong displays since joining from OFK Beograd in 2007.
Italian media recently reported that Lazio had turned down a £12million bid from Madrid for the 24-year-old left-back, and Lotito claimed earlier this week that the player could leave at the right price.
"In my opinion, he is worth as much as [Lazio striker Mauro] Zarate, who we paid 22.5million euros for," said Lotito, who added that the player was not actively seeking a move away from the Serie A club.
"Kolarov has not asked to be transferred," Lotito continued. "He has only expressed an ambition to continue his career at a superior club.
"From our part, we have never put the player on the transfer market."
