Been reading the net today and there is big noise that Barca will have to sell Ibra to us to bid for Fabregas
I really don't want this guy at our club...he's a proper dick...I WANT DZEKO!

Mancini confirmed to Italian media that he wants to partner Ballotelli and Dzeko as our striking unit next season he "has more than a simple interest in Dzeko... partnering him with ballotelli? It is a good idea!" was the apparent quote
not sure where this leaves tev dog??

OR it could've been said in jest.
I have a feeling we have never been after Balotelli.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I hope to God this isn't true but there's a couple of posters on a well-known Blackburn message board that I occasionally go on that claim Tevez to Real is a done deal.

How on earth would they know it?
I can't see any way Tevez would be sold. None whatsoever. It's simply not going to happen.

Manchester City are planning a shock double swoop for Chelsea’s Didier Drogba and former Arsenal keeper Richard Wright, according to reports.
City are building for a serious challenge for the Premier League title next season and need to strengthen up front, having splashed out around £60 million on three players already this summer.
City have been targeting Liverpool’s Fernando Torres but it now looks like the Spaniard will either stay at Anfield or move to Stamford Bridge.
City, then have now turned their attention to £20 million-rated Ivorian Drogba, who could be cashed in to fund Carlo Ancelotti’s move for Torres.
Drogba won the Golden Boot last season after netting 29 league goals, helping his side to the Premier League and FA Cup double on the way, but could earn up to £18 million in three years at Eastlands.
A Chelsea source told The Sun the West Londoners would consider any offers: “Chelsea will have to decide whether they want him to stay. City's offer will be tempting considering Didier's age.”
A move for recently released Ipswich stopper Richard Wright would surprise many but Roberto Mancini is aware his current second choice keeper will want first team football.
The Italian boss does not know whether Shay Given or Joe Hart will be between the sticks next year but knows whoever it isn’t will want to move on to seek regular matches.
Arsenal will be first in the queue for both as they are actively seeking a more consistent replacement for Manuel Almunia and have already been linked with Hart.
EDITED : Just realised I copy - pasted wrong story initially lol.

Well I'm hoping it's bollocks of course - but I know one of them is an agent. Say no more??

Jesus Vhero, you're confusing the shite out of me!! Whaere's that article you posted first of all and where's it from?!
I can't see Tevez being sold because it sends out the wrong message completely. He is our POTY and shortlisted for the prem POTY so he's not exactly easy to replace. I'm not worried TBH.
As for those quotes from Mancini re Dzeko etc - what the fuck?! There is no way we can have Tevez, Dzeko, Ballotelli and Ade on our books - two of them on the bench for the big games would cause major disharmony IMO.

Why not?
them 4 plus Bellers would mean we would have plenty of options and cover for Europe/Cups/League
I reckon that amount of strikers would be just right

looks like silly season has officially started, it is amazing how a WC keeps the journos occupied.
i hope the club just quietly sorts out the Dzeko, Luiz or Kolarov deals and then we can get on with pre-season
without distraction.

So would I provided we still sign another striker. Don't want to entrust our success to Ibra as he could flop spectacularly but as a replacement for that weasley little twat it would be a fantastic move.

They just get it from the Spanish press from the day before, or the day before that. Third hand. Sometimes via this website I am sure.
Guardiola is not a big fan of Robinho. But then he ain't a big fan of Ibrahimovic either, and financially it would make sense for them. However as Bobby has just said that a) we are hoping to tie up Dzeko at some point, and b) that he will bid for Balotelli if Inter will sell, then Ibtahimovic would seem a striker too far. At the moment!
