Let's say he's determined to leave and is adamant that he wants out, how do we get rid without him going to one of our rivals??
How won't go abroad with a young family, he's on record as saying that. What do you suggest?
We just accept offers from non rivals and if non come in then you can't be held responsible the player should be aware of this and understand.
If that did happen, we just say no. It's a simple choice; either strengthen one of our rivals & potentially have an ex player running riot against us, possibly losing us 6 points & also pushing them above us in the league, or stick him in the reserves.
It really is an absolute no brainer. I don't understand how anybody would even contemplate letting Bellamy go to a rival. He's our player, we don't have to sell him. We don't need the money. If he causes trouble just send him home.
Imo he'll get stuck in as he always does & be superb for us yet again.
It seems strange how many people in cyberspace seem happy enough to see Bellamy go. I haven't met one City fan in person who wouldn't be absolutely gutted if he goes. I recon one of the biggest cheers heard in the ground will be when he comes on.
