Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

City’s new attacking midfielder David Silva will fly into Manchester next week to begin life with the Blues.
The Spanish World Cup winner has been recharging his batteries back home in Gran Canaria and is likely to make his home debut against his former club Valencia a week on Saturday.
“It will be a nice start, won’t it?” he smiled. “I enjoyed my time with Valencia so it’s great that my old club could also be my first home game."
Silva signed for the Blues just after the World Cup final having agreed to come to City back in June. He isn’t worried that he is moving to somewhat less sunny climes, either.
“I know that the weather in Manchester is different than Valencia or the Canaries,” he smiled. “But I’m coming to Manchester to play football in a great team, not for sunbathing or going to the beach!”
Silva is particularly looking forward to playing in front of the City fans this season and is hoping to continue his perfect scoring record in England, having scored against both the Blues and Chelsea on his only two previous visits as a player.
"I'm here to create and score goals - hopefully, I can do both," he said.
"But most of all, I'm looking forward to
playing in front of our fans"
"I’ve heard that City supporters are loyal, passionate and very brave. They shout and sing all the time and they have always supported the team, even through difficult times.
“I am eager to experience that from inside the stadium and I’m excited by the challenge ahead for the team.”

He seems a decent guy, can't wait to see him in a blue shirt.

I agree. If he gets used to his new surroundings, he has potential to rule the league I feel.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

So long as the players around him are on the same mental and skill level, he will be fine.
