The point i'm making is that while environment dictates a lot of your inward emotional feelings, actions, and cultural sensibilities...your genetic makeup also plays a part in both how you live your life, how others view you and has an important mention in some deeply rooted cultural or psychological things which maybe you or i can't even understand at a superficial level.

Did you see the vid on the OS of Vinnie going "home" to Africa with his father? Clearly, Vinnie i'm sure thinks of hisself as Belge but it was an emotional coming home story for his father, and for him really as well. Just trying to draw it back to City i suppose...

I didn't give any stick to the Milner and Balotelli deals until Bobby chimed in, that says a lot.
It isn't like him to comment on something unless he thinks it is a forgone conclusion. Best bets are

If they were born to korean parents and raised as american then surely they would look korean and therefore have questions about the country, the kind of place it is and the kind of people that live there. They would identify with other koreans. No way someone could NOT be curious and therefore even though there completely american raised and may like donuts and mcdonalds they are still essentially korean wether they grew up there or not. So they would have "korean" attitudes (whatever the fuck that is). Not that hard to understand really OR maybe i dont understand atall and im talking shite in which case shut the fuck up you queers.

i think you get it...esp. the donuts and McDonalds part. Also, we are their parents...just because you can bear the children or provide the jism doesn't mean yr a parent. And they don't really identify with other Koreans or Asians yet much, simply because children are a lot less racially-aware and concerned than adults. It's pretty refreshing. My oldest daughter's BFF happens to be chinese, but all her other close friends are white or black. she doesn't really even think about her ethnicity...it will happen in the near future. We're going to take the whole screaming clan to Korea in a year or two i think, which should spark some new feelings i'm sure.

Also, @AbuDhaboob -- do you study one of the physical sciences or am i dreaming that?

Mancini expects Balotelli, Milner at City by Thursday

Roberto Mancini hopes to have Mario Balotelli and James Milner at Manchester City by next Thursday.

Although Martin O'Neill hinted on Friday night that Milner was on the verge of completing a big-money switch to Eastlands, the contract remains unsigned.

Milner is due to link up with the England squad ahead of Wednesday's friendly with Hungary early next week, which further complicates matters.

Balotelli has Italian national commitments as well, although Mancini is hoping to tie up both deals very swiftly once those midweek fixtures are over.

"We are close with both players but now they are going with their national teams," said Mancini after the 2-0 friendly win over Valencia.

"We hope that we can have these players by next Thursday.

"For now we have two days off and we are not going to talk about the market. Next week we will see.

"These deals could happen but we need to wait."

Should both go through it would take City's summer spending beyond £125million and confirm their status as the richest club in the world.

It is a fact not overlooked in Spain's Primera Division, with Valencia boss Unai Emery claiming they have even zoomed past Real Madrid in the wealth stakes.

"On a worldwide scale the only comparison has been Real Madrid, but City have even gone beyond that now," he said.

"They are creaming off some of the biggest players in the world. The investment has bought them a squad of great players and now they are definite contenders to win the title in England.

"It takes more than just investment of course but certainly in the Premier League I would regard them as being at the same level as both Chelsea and Manchester United."

It is Mancini's task to try and mould the huge number of stars into a winning team.

Craig Bellamy did not even get off the bench tonight, with Mancini confirming: "I cannot use 25 players in one game."

Bellamy will almost certainly resolve that situation by finding another club.

For Shay Given and Joe Hart the situation is not quite so simple.

Both men were given 45 minutes to impress as Gareth Barry and Jo scored the goals that cemented victory.

Only one will play in next Saturday's Premier League opener at Tottenham though, which must be very difficult for Hart given he is expected to start for England in midweek.

"It is not a big decision," insisted Mancini.

"I am fortunate that I have two strong goalkeepers. This is important when you have a long season with three matches every week.

"I have an idea who I will play but I still have a week to decide.

"I know whoever I pick, the other one will help that person. It is not a problem for us."

There is'nt a cat in hell's chance Taggert will pay that for Milner as he would have to put five players Villa's way to finance it.

Milner is ours. He wants to come here. It's where he wants to go...the filth could sell 3 players and get the dosh to finance a bigger offer and i don't believe the player would want to go play for them. He's just waiting for us to pull our finger out. As is MON. Have you noticed MON's more panicky responses over the last 2 weeks about "now is the time to get the deal done"? he knows we're just fucking baiting him and playing him vs. the clock so that he has as little time as possible, but has an unsettled player on his hands. Hope the strategy doesn't backfire somehow, but i'm pretty confident that Milner really wants to play in sky blue.

Also, who in their right fuclin minds would pay 32M for this kid? 18-24M is prollee how most would value him.

cheers

So they are selling season tickets with Milner Youtube clips? Doesn't look too good for the deal.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

We post about not getting taken for a ride - but also we post about wanting to get deals concluded - I am guessing that it will be Marwood having to deal with a difficult selling club / agent (again if the view of these expressed have any foundation) - so for me - good luck to Cook and Marwood in looking after our interests

Kompany off to Arsenal according to the Metro apparently... because... wait for it.... because we signed Milner and Yaya Toure... if there ever was a reason to sell our best Center Back then signing two midfielders is definitely it!
