I can't believe that, after all their injury problems, West Ham would pay decent money for a player that's not been fit for 2 years. Must be a loan deal if true.

Given his striker glut at Inter, I just cannot see Mancini going with just 3 strikers - Tevez, Ade, Balotelli - so either RSC wont be sold or, if he is, there will be someone else coming in. 4 strikers is a minimum to get where we want to go.

My mate has just text me saying he has read on VillaTalk that the Milner deal has collapsed? I can't see that site because I'm at work (lucky for me this place isn't blocked), can anyone let me know whether he's talking lies?

I've just had a look and it appears a member on VillaTalk has linked a post on BBC 606 stating that the deal had collapsed. 606 though ;)

to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised. With Lerner mouthing off about milking more money out of us and Ireland's reluctancy to leave, I'd say it's very possible. And then there are rumours about us bidding for Gourcuff, who I'd actually prefer anyway.

We'll see but hope this serves as remainder that they aren't our players until they are holding that shirt in official site.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Think the Gourcuff rumour is one for Villas attention. That said he's a player who would be a welcome addition if the Milner deal collapses, a deal that most of us have actually lost the will to live with.

According to a couple of sites, plus news i was given this morning,James Milner will not be going to Man City now,and wants to sit down with Randy Lerner and talk over a new contract.
He is going to Austria on Wednesday morning with the Villa squad and will play on Thursday evening thus being Cuptied for Europe.

He has the feeling im led to believe he is not wanted as badly by Man City as he is by Villa and would now like to stay.

Football is about idealism, in hair as much as in skill surely?

Aston Villa
by Rotterdamspectator (U1909395) 16 August 2010

See previous posts by myself on this.

The same source of information who said It was looking like it was not going to happen has now informed me James Milner has decided to stay at Aston Villa and review his contract.

Randy Learner has started proceedings against Man City !

And previous such behaviours have lead to transfer bans!

I hope this is true!

Watch this space

Fuck me deluded or what..
