The official shout was spot on for me, Dedryck was excellent and capped the display with a goal. Nige was quality too though

Didn't end up seeing the game so I voted for Cunningham, just wanted to see the results.

I went de Jong, it was so much fun watching him rip them apart. In some ways he was the one who made the game duller because they were so afraid of going near him if they could help it. They had no answer other than to just give up on that avenue of attack. He was just so effective at his job it was silly.
Boyata was good. I really liked the way he dealt with one footrace, really showed his speed.
The game was made for Vieira. He really held the team together in terms of dictating play when attacking and helped win the midfield battle.

boyata for me. very calm and composed in possession, good defending, and a goal to top it off. really chuffed for him.

Hard to see why I'd vote for a defender who had hardly any defending to do.
De Jong for me.

For the same reason Kiki Musampa, Phillip Schofield and Pedro the Wonder Orange aren't on there. He didn't play.

Vieira.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

That's the way I saw it too. It was such an easy ride for the defence I just don't see how a defender gets a vote. Nigel was so in command hardly anything got through.

Very surprised SWP only has one other vote?! I would have said SWP, then boyota. He had little to do. SWP was our best attacking threat (although was quiet early on) Silva tried to make things happen but nothing was coming off, his passing was shit unfortunately. Ade was dire.

Silva put in some great crosses. A real beauty for Jo that was well saved (but the keeper shouldn't have had a chance) and a great delivery from the free kick that had Boyata heading into an empty goal because the keeper came and got nowhere near it.
You can see the quality he has.

Agreed. Still finding his feet , the pace of the game plus how his teammates move etc but you can see the quality he has.

Who voted for Jo?!
For me NDJ was MOM. Ade, Jo and Silva all disappointed me, but the other 8 did what was expected of them and more.

I voted De Jong, just ahead of Vieira
I've always rated Boyata but I don't think he was quite up to the level of the other two
But he's getting there!

I voted Joe Hart just to see who won.
What we have now is a deep squad that will allow important players to rest. That is the difference. This is a new City.
