Manchester City have been told to cough up by Santos over their sale of Robinho to AC Milan.
Santos chief Joao Vicente Gazzola is demanding money as part of their assistance in reviving Robinho's career last season.
"We have the right to almost 5% of the amount paid by AC Milan to Manchester City as a reward for playing Robinho," said Gazzola.
Santos also expect money from Real Madrid, which sold Robinho to City, after the winger left them for Madrid.

...Well i guess they did help revive Robinho, I mean it's not like they only payed a portion of his wages while he was on loan there, they payed his whole salary right.......
and i bet during his loan he made them no money and they had to go to great lengths and hardships to resurrect his career for us at such great cost to them.....
also on the pitch, he was a donkey for them too, not helping them in any way win the league and cup....
LMAO.
They make it sound like we sent them Benjani and they turned him into a megastar.
I bet City's legal team are still laughing at this.

allegedly it cost them a small fortune to pay the oppo defenders to run the other way when Robson got the ball.
I think it fair to say they are out of pocket for Robbies 'revival'.

If this is true then it's safe to say they don't know who they're dealing with. The Sheikhs' legal team would make mincemeat out of them. Crazy fools

5% ??? surely they have missed a zero off of that ?
They must be entitled to at least half of the transfer fee ?

Ironic isn't it?
Benjani in one thread claiming everyone at City is only interested in the money. Then there's this thread showing that everyone else in football seems to be only interested in is Citys money.
Money, eh? Route of all evil, y'know.

I demand at least 15% of Robinho's wages whilst at City because I stood in the crowd and cheered him on, which surely helped him skip past those defenders and score all those goals in the first season at City, didn't it?

I feel I owe Santos a small percentages. I called Robinho a lazy and selfish twat, which likely may have had a negative impact on his image, thus bringing his market value down. The 5% Santos are surely entitled too will hence amount to a smaller sum. I'm sorry.
