I do think that players have to much power today, and that they often act like cunts, not respecting their contracts and holding their clubs hostage. That said, that proposition is ludicrous. Forcing people to move to another city/part of the country to play their trade is something only really heartless institutions do, like the Swedish unemployment agency and the National Hockey League.

Don't see the big deal. If you're not negotiating a contract and intend to go on a Bosman then they should be allowed to release you if someone else will pay your wages.

Do we really want footballers who aren't getting their game demanding a pay rise to go out on loan before they become free agents? Should they be allowed to be paid to sit on their arses for a club they don't want to play for when the club doesn't want them either.
